Medicaps-College-Review

Medicaps is one of the reputed colleges. I had three colleges in my mind SGSITS, DAVV and Medicaps. Due to my score, I got medicaps. I cleared pre engineering test(PET) with marks 119.20/200. In counselling, I have chosen Medicaps. This college was among the top ten colleges.

My course has a bright future. I was going to be an Engineer, as I love programming. There are many reputed IT companies across the world. The faculty-student ratio:- 15/60. some of the faculties were responsible for taking practicals and LABS and of them were course basis. The faculties were very polite and intelligent. Most of them were masters in their courses and some of them were PhD. There were too many internal tests and mid-sems and finals, they were very strict towards cheating in the exams and the level of questions was moderately high.

From final years students are eligible for the campus. companies like TCS, Infy, Mindtree, Zensar, Amdocs, Oracle, and many more mostly visit at 6th sem. Some of the company has criteria to be eligible for their campus like 10th,12th should be passed by more than 60% and also the average of till current sem should be greater than 60. The highest package was 6LPA and the average package was 3.2. The percentage of the student getting placements is 80.

The fees were around 64,000 as which is the same as all other engineering colleges except GOVT colleges. There were Scholarships for OBC, ST/SC students, and were tuition fees too, I don't exactly remember how much it was.

I really enjoyed my college life. I still miss it. There were many many activities. I was also an organizer of a face-painting competition and quiz. There was also DJ night and Dandiya Nights where everyone was supposed to get together in traditional dress(Girls in saree and boys in kurta). And they enjoy Dandiya, Dance, Modeling and many more activities. There were also many tournaments for Kabaddi, Volleyball, Cricket, and many more. There was a huge collection of books in the library.

There was no GD or interview to get selected for Medicaps. There was an entrance exam called PET(Pre-Engineering Test). and the score was the criteria to get an engineering college. then there was counselling in which we have to choose our college as per rank. we can choose any college below or equal to our rank.
