Entrance Preview

Government Entrance Exam in year 2006 and got 260.61 cuts of out of 300. Entrance exam mark 70.61 out of 100 and Math, Physics and Chemistry calculated for 200.

Course Curriculum Overview

We are the first batch Under Anna University. So curriculum new and good. But in some core subject still the knowledge to be improved and also lot practical experience to be improved. It will help for jobs. More theoretical knowledge only obtain from the course.

Internships Opportunities

No. In year 2006 it is not available. But now more alumni individual student and company also provide striped for poor people.

College Events

Every year 2 event celebrated in big way. Sports day and annual day and very good. Apart from the above two common culture, each and every department has unique event. And Every year "Futura" conducted to innovate the new ideas for the student to develop the new idea. It help the every student to prove the knowledge. And also first prize in this event given Rs 100000 best innovative project.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Now fee structure found little bit higher. In 2006, there was 3 fee structure. Entrance exam with free quota Rs 25000 every year. Entrance exam with government quota Rs 55000 every year. Direct join in college Rs 55000 every year with donation. But now all three same fee. So no importance for the cut off marks only donation not available.

Fees and Financial Aid

During my period no loan provided. But now I am noticed more alumni help the poor people every year. But college provided fee reduction based on the 12th marks.

Exam Structure

Exam structure every month, one test conducted and one semester has three monthly test and one modal exam before the semester exam. Three monthly text and one model exam assess the knowledge it is good to prepare the final exam.

Faculty

Faculty knowledge good. Outside industrial exposure also needed.All the faculty take extra care for each and every student to pass the subject. But student has to take the knowledge to the next level of experience by getting the practical knowledge and also apply the theoretical knowledge to practical application.

Overall Good Experience at EEC

Likes

good infrastructure, clean campus and well equipped classrooms and labs.
Faculty members are supportive and explain concepts clearly with practical examples.
Good placement opportunities, career guidance and opportunities to participate in activities.

Dislikes

The workload can be huge sometimes, especially during examinations and project submissions.
some subjects could include more practical and industry-oriented learning
More campus activities and student interactions opportunities would improve campus life.

Placement Experience:

Students can join job drives from the 7th term. Many firms visit the campus for jobs and offer roles in tech and other fields. The pay varies by firm and role. EEC has a good job rate and gives help for job prep. After my degree, I plan to work in the tech field and grow my skills.

An average of more than 90% of rhe students were placed during my term. Companies like amazon, juspay, adobe, hcl, cts, tcs, adp etc came and there are 500 companies that visisted our campus during my batch

Sathyabama is value for money

Likes

the classrooms in specialization are air conditioned
faculty is supportive for academic growth

Dislikes

the attendance is strict at 75% and subject attendances upto 80%
you cannot exit campus before 3.15 pm under any circumstances

Placement Experience:

The placements are very decent and they provide internships as early career opportunities as well in 3rd year of studies and the college possess high conversion rates through these internships which support the resume with actual corporate exposure

This is the best college overall

Likes

The curriculum provided is really nice and understandable.
It is relevant and is effective as well.
The boy girl ratio is on the other hand a little less as in 45:15.

Dislikes

The way some facilities behave with students is really bad especially in our branch.
Some facilities are too rude and they often don’t want to listen to students point of view

Placement Experience:

Students are open to campus placements from 2nd year onwards. There are many companies who visit such as Delloite, Accenture, Cognizant, TCS, Amazon, NatWest, Nokia, etc. Highest package offered is 42 lpa and lowest is maybe 2-4lpa. Around 90% of students get placed here. My plans is to get a job through campus recruitment. Currently I got an internship through campus recruitment in Cognizant so the recruitment is quite nice here.

The network connectivity in girls hostel is poor
The food at mess is average sometimes it is not taste
The practical labs are help at distance.

Placement Experience:

At 8th semester the students can become eligible for campus placement and the companies visited more oftens are win etc the highest packages about 25 LP and average packers about 2.5 lpa percentage of students getting placement is above 80 percentage.

High fees the government college but charging high fees making it difficult for students from lower income background to access quality education
often have limited seats dealing to intense competition and disappointment for some students

The thing I most liked is the campus the infrastructue
There are a many clubs so it's exciting for people who like other things then studies
The opportunities as well the alumini network

The campus is very crowded there are many people compared to other colleges
The category wise fee structure and the increasing fees
Charges for hostel are little more then others

As of my information the placements are pretty decent..first the placements used to take place in Vellore campus but I guess jow they have started here as well ..as of my opinion the placement stars from the 7th semester

It's like Schools .There will be special class if you didn't get much marks like schools .

Placement Experience:

From 5 th semester onwards students are eligible for campus placements. Lots of companies. The highest package is 26 lakhs and the average package is 1.5 lakhs. 98% of students get placed. Doing my best in a career as an entrepreneur.
