Remarks
I chose JIMS Kalkaji because it is one of the best colleges of I.P. Universities. It was easy to reach as it is hardly a k.m. away from the Kalkaji Mandir Metro Station. The location of the college is really good. For the admission process, one has to pass the CET Exam held by the I.P. Universities with high rank and should also have scored more than 50% in the 12th CBSE boards.
Course Curriculum Overview
The syllabus of the course is well designed imparting students both theoretical and practical knowledge. The staff is really good, supportive and helpful. The student teacher ratio of JIMS Kalkaji 60:1. The curriculum prepares the students for the future and trains them for the future.
Internships Opportunities
Yes, there are many on campus opportunities that are provided by the college to the students. For this internship, students get a certificate. These are non-paid internship i.e. the students does not get any stipend but JIMS Kalkaji doesn't provide any on-campus internship.
Placement Experience
JIMS Kalkaji placement cell of the college is really active in providing students placement in top companies. They also prepare students for clearing the interview for the placement. Almost 95% of students get placement in top companies.
Fees and Financial Aid
My course is Bcom(H) and its fees are annually around a lakh which is much cheaper than the fees of this course in other similar colleges. There are no extra charges for any other facilities provided by the college. The college has a great library that has an abundance of various journals, books and e-resources. JIMS Kalkaji also provides a book bank facility so that they promote environment friendly approach towards nature.
Campus Life
There are many fests held by the college annually like Garba fest, Zest night and many more. The college also hosts many debate competitions, quizzes, and many inter-college competitions. There are many clubs in the college like finance, HR, culture and so on.
