Remarks

Dy Patil College of Engineering, Akurdi is one of the oldest campuses among dy Patil group of institutions Pros: 1) Excellent placements for CS/IT branch specifically and the average for core branches as well 2) great support from faculty as well as a staff regarding College procedures as well as daily doubts. 3) great platform to explore new things besides just acing studies, not too strict regarding attendance and all Cons: 1) fewer internship opportunities so u would have to try off-campus for internships 2)Not autonomous so we have to follow outdated sppu syllabus. Our College is a great place for u to explore urself find where ur fitted the best and get a bright future.

Course Curriculum Overview

Basically, I chose this course bcoz I love computers since my childhood. I was always fascinated by new applications new games and software-related technology hence I decided to get into the field learn the skills and finally contribute towards the digitalization of our society. Our faculty: students ratio is about 1:22 which I would say is far better than most of the colleges even faculties act guardians for the students coming from long distances. Term exams were timely scheduled as well as little practice would be enough to ace it no worries!!

Class Size: 65Course Fees: INR 70053 per year

Placement Experience

It is around 6-7 Sem when students get ready for their placements with mock interviews and aptitudes with the help of faculties. Talking about CS we had the highest package of around 16Lpa and our average package goes around 4.8Lpa. Approx 92% of students get placed and others options for higher studies or start-ups. After getting a degree I wish to be in one of my dream companies.

Fees and Financial Aid

For obc students, it is around 70K/yr and hostels go around 1.25L/yr so I would prefer staying in nearby pg's our flats with friends. Talking about scholarships we can avail scholarships on mahadbt portal.

Campus Life

We have an explicit campus of 33acres and one of the best campuses in Pune with greenery all around. We have clubs for all extra co-curricular activities anyone can join acc to his interests. Anyone can issue a book in the library as per his needs. Talking of sports we have cricket ground football ground kabaddi basketball basically all outdoor sports also we have indoor games like badminton table tennis volleyball so if u want to relax

YCCE College : My Experience

Placement Experience:

The placements are good in the YCCE college as compared to other colleges in Nagpur. From seventh semester the students are eligible for the campus reqruitments. The companies that offer placements in YCCE are Microsoft, TCS, Infosys, wipro, Persistent etc. The highest package is around 24 LPA and the average package is around 5 LPA. Around 70-80% students get placed every year in the college. My plans after getting the degree is to get a secure job and spent time with family.

Placement Experience:

From 7th Sem, students are eligible for placements and undergo placement training. Many companies has visited so far but the big ones are Godrej, BEL, Framatome, etc. The highest package for mechanical was 7.5 LPA and the avg package was around 5 LPA with a majority of job roles as GET. Almost 95% students are placed. I'm preparing for GATE ME for higher studies

Placement Experience:

The placements in my college are pretty good considering the Fact that mostly its the Top 2000-3000 students from Maharashtra that make it to this college. The average Package offered in the college is Around 11LPA while the highest package last year was around 48LPA. The names of the Top companies that have recruited students from my college include Adobe, Amazon and Mastercard. The placement percentage from the past few years has been above 90%. My plans after getting the Degree is either to continue my Cricket Career as a Proffesional or to become a Commercial Pilot.

I chose Dy patil college because of strong reputation. Dyp stood out in terms of its academic programs,offering a wide range of undergraduate,postgraduate courses. I received confirmed admissions from DYP and PVG college.However, I chose DYP due to Its stronger faculty expertise and infrastructure.Although I didnt receive a rejection from sinhagad vadgaon.
