Best self financing engineering college under KTU

Everything about college is really great but getting in as a kid immatured then a bad thing you would feel is the college is really strict but actually no. When we were freshers it was much worser. A new start to a new beginning if made easy will make us work less. So a strict beginning is always better for a perfect ending.

Well the curriculum being followed is given from KTU. Well organized exams and results in college level. About university exams it depends on the University which actually changes with time. Many issues recently about the evaluation problems else everything goes in track.

Placements offers are high in our college due to outstanding results by students in every exams. Constantly being the one among the top 5 engineering colleges in kerala.

The college celebrates onam grandly. We have intercollegiate techfest Vyapthi which has vast Audience from outside campus. Arts fest named varnam is conducted every year in even semester and sports day Spark on odd semesters. We also have an ethnic day on keralapiravi day which is also a day of music and dance.

To a student having good grades in maths or good rank in keam entrance the fees is feasible as the college provides many scholarships. Otherwise the normal engineering fee about 75k must be payed. I got scholarship and only needed to pay 8500 yearly.

Since I had above 80% marks in maths I got a scholarship of 35000 per annum fee. Then after gaining 8cgpa in both odd semester and even semester it was reduced to 8500 per annum. If we score fail in any subjects this scholarship will be cancelled.

Gender ratios depends on each department. As mechanical dept consists of majority boys and electronics dept contains majority girls. The campus life in overall is awsome. NSS, athletics, dance club, music club, games everything is active. A very known infrastructure for lab facilities in kerala. We also have a wing for robotics lovers.

Yes, the hostel provides very good infrastructure than any other college hostel in kerala. We have 4 bed and 2 bed rooms. The monthly rent is about 1500 and mess fee is about 4000. Total of 5500. The mess food is very good with 5 days in the week of non veg food. Hostel also have its own gym for boys as well as girls. Other games items are also available.

MITS alumini is a very active bunch of seniors. They are always in touch with the juniors in need. College also provides interactive sessions with successful seniors regularly. This helps us get self motivated and ambitious.

The faculty structure is remarkable. All faculties are from very good background and most of them having their PhDs done. Faculty ratio is 1:10 in our department. Any faculty can be ringed at any time for any clarifications very friendly approch from them. Also Library facilities are open even in Saturdays.
