Remarks

It has good reputation and is ranked 3 rd place for my course. My college provided more extra curricular activites which helps us to grow our skills more. They also provided campus placements which was a benefit for students.

Course Curriculum Overview

Our course syllabus was not latest but our lecturers has explained all about latest information. We have a staff of 200 members. They were always supportiv. Mr. Srinivas was very creative in his teaching methods.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 55000 per year

Placement Experience

Many MNC companies like Deloit, Qualcom etc visted our campus. Financial institutions like bajaj, muthoot finance visited our college. There were also some start up companies which have offered placements a total of 300 students got placed.

College Events

There ere many technical events like Model United Nations, Student debates etc. Every festival was celebrated in the college. There were cultural days twice a year on those days many cultural progams were conducted.

Campus Life

We have library, reading room and few computer and science labs. We do not have any sports facilities but we were encouraged to participate in any sport tournaments. Library contain all the recorda of the college and we also had our college magzines.

Roller coaster ride

Course Curriculum Overview:

To be honest the curriculum which we got to study was not at all relevant to the current real world demand of skills because there was only focus on the bookish knowledge rather than the real world challenges. We students only gained bookish knowledge and because of that we are facing so much of difficulty during graduation placements. The exams were held continuously making students so restless. Everything was good but only this.

Decent college with good facilities

Placement Experience:

From 4th year 1st semester, the students become eligible for campus placements. About 10-15 companies visited our college with minimum 3 lpa. And only 30% of students are placed in the campus placement. Companies like virtuza, movate, cognizant, hcl visited our campus for placement. The highest package was 4.5 lpa and lowest was 2.8 . My plans after getting degree is work in a reputed mnc.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I am very Passionate about Computer Science. So I joined Information Technology which is the same as CSE. Information technology mostly offers the same opportunities as CSE in VNRVJIET. So, I preferred IT in VNRVJIET. In VNRVJIET, Hyderabad faculty: student ratio is approx 1:40 which is considered as Average ratio. Most of the Faculty are PHD Graduates but there are less number of Professors. Mostly there are Assistant Professors whose Teaching Methodology is average to Good but not rated as Better in terms of Teaching. Professors are good at Teaching but Some Assistant Professors are not as good as we expected. There are mostly newly joined PHD faculty members were there who will teach in a slow manner. Every 5-6 months we have Semester Exams which are mostly easy to pass if we have somewhat knowledge of the subject.

Detailed overview of IIMC college hyderabad

I have directly selected my college due to suggestions from people in the education department and my family relatives. I have not applied for any other colleges before and neither i have failed to get addmission there i directly selected my college due it's reputation in the public which was highly positive. Addmission process in my college is merit and reservation based and doesn't include any written tests. 70 percentage in the intermediate level is required to be eligible for BBA course and people who score way less than 70 like around 40 to 50 percent are also given addmission if they have sports and caste reservation....Read More
