Detailed overview of IIMC college hyderabad

My decision to take this course comes from the suggestions i received from family and friends. I my opinion the curriculum is well enough to help us survive in real worlds situations. The curriculum doesn't entirely help us face real life situations but is enough to help us understand the situation and survive accordingly. A lot of things in this curriculum are outdated and theoretical due to which it is not very effective in real life situations.

Companies like Barclays investment bank, Accenture, concentrix and Deloitte are some companies that offer internship opportunities in our college with stipend ranging from 10,000 rs to 70,000 rs based on the type of internship.

The BBA course fee in INDIAN INSTITUTE OF MANAGEMENT AND COMMERCE, Hyderbad for the 1st year fee is 65,000 rupess 2nd year fee is 70,000 rupees 3rd year fee is 75,000 rupess It is 5,000 to 10,000 higher than other courses in the college like B.COM

The social interaction is very good in the college as it conducts a lot of competitions and activities on various aspects. There is no particular time intervals in which these activities wre conducted. There are a lot of variety of books in my College library including academic books, personality development books, competitive exams material and daily news material. The college also offers a digital library in which various e books can be accessed through computers. The classroom is outdated with green chalk board with no new technology like smart borads projectors etc. Sports competitions are conducted by the university and conducted by the college twice a year not giving much attention to sports. Clubs and social groups are also highly encouraged by the college.

I have directly selected my college due to suggestions from people in the education department and my family relatives. I have not applied for any other colleges before and neither i have failed to get addmission there i directly selected my college due it's reputation in the public which was highly positive. Addmission process in my college is merit and reservation based and doesn't include any written tests. 70 percentage in the intermediate level is required to be eligible for BBA course and people who score way less than 70 like around 40 to 50 percent are also given addmission if they have sports and caste reservation.

The faculty to student ratio is rightly managed where enough number of faculties are available to handle and teach all the students properly in the class. The BBA faculty that i am highly impressed by are the following 1. Srinivas sir 2. Swapna mam 3. Raghvendra rao sir 4. Shetal mam 5. Karuna sree mam The structure and conduction of the exams is decided by the osmanina university of telengana. The structure of examinations consists of 100 marks for each subject. Classification is as follows 80 marks is external examination 15 marks internal examination 5 marks assignment for each subject. Osmanina universities assessment to understand the capabilities of students is by far the worst. Even though it conducts examinations it fails to asses the students properly due to it's poor correction process. The students who are not very academically good score High marks compared to the students who are good and talented this is the single most criticism given to the university. The college also fails to give enough attention to this and leaves it as it is. Most students pass these exams at first their result is shown fail and when they apply for reverification they are passed. This malpractice is conducted by OU to loot money from the students.

There is not night life activities around the college and hang out spots are not near college. the only activities around are the near by lake tank bund and the spots near it. Students private join hostels as there is not hostel facility in the college.
