Remarks

On-Campus Facilities & Amenities. The campus is good. The lab equipments are highly appreciated. This was the college which was actually suggested by most of my seniors and friends. I got this college through CET. Moreover I had visited the website of this college before joining. Website was atria.edu. I joined this college in May 2018. The process was through KEA, we have to select few colleges and from that we get selected in any of the colleges that we had mentioned, so I luckily got this college. Reason for preferring this college was that it is a bit near to my house. So travelling is okay compared with the other colleges. Teachers are very much friendly and they support us in every aspect. Our college has a nice placement and that was one of the other reason too. We have seen more number of people getting placed in good companies every year.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

I have chosen BE course because its my dream to become an engineer. In this college our lecturers are very much friendly towards us through all aspects. They care about us a lot. Students also respond to them equally. The faculty of each department have good qualification according to the requirement. They have a very good knowledge about all the things. They clear our doubts whenever we ask them even after college hours'. They are ready to help us anytime. Teaching method is very much acceptable or to be more precise its comfortable. Our college has got a lot of experiencd faculty. Exams are once in 6 months (sem exam). Since it is VTU it's very difficult to pass. Even if we are confident enough to pass, results are not the same, sometimes it happens that when we put for revaluation we get pass. So I personally feel VTU is trying to make money through this. But sometimes paper will be easy and even the corrections would be liberal. But this happens very rare.

Placement Experience

3.5

Students are eligible for campus placements from 7th semester. Students are prepared from 6th semester for placements. Some of the top companies that participate in campus placements of Atria Institute of Technology are Accenture, Lister, HCL, IBM, Virtusa, Wipro, Hexaware, Hughes, Tata ELXSI Limited, Oracle, Nokia, Microsoft, etc. Highest average package is around 5 lakh per annum. Around 70% of students get placements. My plan after degree is to get placed in a top company.

College Events

3.5

There are technical fest and the annual fest every year. Usually technical fest are conducted during August and annual fest in the month of October. Lots & lots of books & journals are available in the library. Each Classroom is provided with a projector and a blackboard. Furnitures are in good condition. If you are interested in any of the sport or any extracurricular activities you are actually free to do those but at the same time you must be good in academics. Social groups are there on course era platform and also in telegram.

Fees and Financial Aid

epass is one of the scholarship offered by our college and there are many other private scholarships which can be applied by students.

Campus Life

4.5

Sports facilities are very good. We have lot of space to play. We have a basketball court. We have a good PT teacher. Library is very big and there are so many books provided, we're allowed to visit Library whenever we are free or whenever we'd like to visit. Wi-Fi is provided only to the hostlers and in the lab for academic purpose. Equipments in the labs are very well maintained. We are free to attend labs for practice even after the following exams.

Admission

Criteria: you can get addmission through any competative exams like CET, COMEDK, or any other. And also through payment seats. I got admitted through CET.

Placement Experience:

The placement cell is very active in our college. Every year more than 30+ companies come to our college for recruitment . Our seniors from 7th semester get placed in many companies and before getting placed in the company our college offers internships to every student. Around 80 % of the students get placed in companies and work efficiently. The average package for civil engineering is 2.5 lakh per annum.

Placement Experience:

RIT's placement scenario is very good, even for the most unpopular branches such as Civil Engineering. Starting from the 7th semester, students are allowed to participate in campus recruitment, and companies come to the campus for the entire final year. The major recruiting companies are L&T Construction, Shapoorji Pallonji, Brigade Group, Sobha Developers, Atkins, PWD, and Infosys for the non-core sector. Civil students on an average get ?5–6 LPA as salary, and the highest offer is usually in the range of ?12–15 LPA, depending on the company and the position. Almost 70–80% of Civil students are placed, while some of them go for higher studies or government examination.Site engineer, design engineer, planning engineer, survey engineer, and trainee engineer are the core positions that are offered. Also, non-traditional roles in IT and consulting can be taken up by those who are not interested in core engineering profiles.I will first acquire some work experience in the industry after completing my degree and then will pursue a master's degree in structural engineering to gain further specialization.

Students become elegible for placements from 7th sem onwards but we are encouraged to do internship before final itself. Most of the companies that come here aren't t1 or even t2. Highest probably would be 12L only if the student is exceptional but most would secure a package 4-6. And the percentage of students getting placed is <50%
