Because this college is one of the best bachelor of hotel management colleges in the state. This college provides 100% campus placements to all the students and qualified faculties are also present in this college.This college has also other co curricular activities and also promotes sports, arts. Lots of seminars, functions like onam celebrations, xmas celebrations are also held here. The graduates from this college are working in high positions in lots of big properties outside india. The management and faculties are also good to the parents and students. They also take care the students at a time of financial problems.
Course Curriculum Overview
I chose this course because this course has more value than any other diploma courses on hotel management. The faculty student ratio in here is 1:30.The faculties are highly qualified. Our principal holds many high degrees and our vice principal is a professor while all other faculties are ass. professors. The faculties have worked in lot of luxury hotels and ships and are highly specialised in their own departments.
Placement Experience
Starting from 7th semester, students are eligible for campus placements. Companies like McDonald's, domino's, Hyatt, Leela,Hilton, etc are visiting here every year to offer job packages to students. 100% placements are the speciality here. Every student will be placed in good hotels by the faculties. 20000-25000 are the minimum salary package offered by companies here.
College Events
Life at the campus is great. Many fests are conducted every year. Food fests are the main attention. Classroom amenities include projectors, purified water containers etc. Every year sports meet is held. Also games like cricket tournaments, volleyball, basketball, football, badminton tournaments are also held here. The library in here is one of the best library i have seen. It includes lots of books about the culinary arts, variety cuisines, equipments, food varieties, wines, etc.
Fee Structure And Facilities
There are 8 semesters in this course and each of these semesters fees are 30000. Scholarships like post metric and other government scholarships are provided here. If any student faces a financial crisis, the mangement will help him/her and also he /she has to pay the fees whenever possible.
Hostel Facilities
Facilities in the room includes study table, shelves, cots, fan, bulbs etc. The meal provided here are absolutely good. The menu includes non vegetarian dishes everyday except for friday. Breakfasts includes appam, idli, puttu, dosa etc. Evening snacks include vada, boli, egg or meat puffs, cream biscuits etc. Chicken biriyani is provided once a month to the students.
Admission
Yes, there was written test for the admission. The questions are mostly about general knowledge and are multiple choice questions.There is no need for tension because most of the questions are based on general knowledge which we mostly seen in newspapers, internet, tv etc.
