About my college

Nothing two very successful fests each year - Aaruush, the tech fest and Milan the cultural fest, the campus is always buzzing. The approach of these are huge and we have had celebrities like Salim - Sulaiman, Benny Dayal, Kenny Sebastian, Varun Thakur and Suresh Raina in attendance.

Highly competitive and analytical & reasoning based studies supports betterment of the student Some teachers are a gem to learn from, but most of the teachers don't have a proper knowledge of the subject. Most students resort to self-study. The curriculum is up to mark and follows the modern norms. I'm pursuing a Btech in ECE because I've always been fascinated by electronics and like to play with circuits.

Percentage of students got internship from my course are above 75% and the companies are Airtel, ICICI. The top roles offered in my course are Finance, Marketing, Operations and HR.

Milan, Aarush, Panacea gives various opportunities to its students to bring out their talents. Students of this department are responsible for the publishing of University newspaper Spectrum in which the students take active part in campus reporting. Not only this there is a community radio at the university called Muthucharam CR which works from monday to sunday. Students learn and practice in the CR, this helps them a lot while pursuing their professional life. These are only few examples several other innovative and creative works are performed by the department.

Feasible my course costs me around 2lacs a year which is a huge investment. And if I am not able to get placed from the college, then it is not worth spending. However, the burden falls on the students too here, how we perform in our tenure.Personally I feel SRM is overpriced in their hostel and mess fee,but on academic basis this college is perfect for their academic fee as it gives perfect qualities a student should have for his learning.

Din't avail anything adding up the other fees like hostel fees, examination fees, along with our other miscellaneous things we as students spend on. It gets a bit too much. But, few students have the opportunity to get fees concession later on as well through scholarships etc.

Supportive for extracurricular activites led by student manifesto and student affairs managed by students itself. Campus life is pretty good as we get almost everything within the campus itself. There's not much need to go out. The fact that SRM Hospital is located there itself within the campus gives us an advantage as well in case of emergencies.

Entrance based selection and unbiased. State of art facility. Centralised instrument facilities and user friendly and supportive. Provides funding support without interruption for a stipulated period. Foreign faculty, flexible and dynamic curriculum, exciting research and global connections.

Good and skilled. Young faculties decent placement and track record for deserved candidates teachers of SRM University are more helpful and knowledgeable. They are having a good quality of teaching with high teaching experience. The course curriculum is entirely relevant. I don't know whether the course makes the students ready for industry but it gives us a self confident of facing a problem with right knowledge.
