Remarks

All good about the college is the efficient faculty and the calm atmosphere the place where the campus is situated is near Madikeri (Coorg) which is a very attractive tourist destination. Nothing really bad about the college. maybe the location might irritate some people because there is nothing much of entertainment facilities available in town.

Entrance Preview

I cleared Karnataka CET and got an admission in KVGCE the reason is that the college is near my place and the faculty is known to very knowledgeable and have the passion to teach.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

Curriculum is as directed by the Vishweshwaraya Technological University. There is a huge encouragement for research from the institute Especially from Chem and Mech departments but the hurdle that refrains students is the lack of infrastructural resources in the premises.

Internships Opportunities

Since the location of the college is way far from the city, internship remains a dream to many of the students but the projects assigned by the faculty and their guidance would help.

Placement Experience

3.5

Many of the Top Notch MNCs have visited the college for their campus recruitment. The College is trying its best to help their students get placed in the most prestigious institutions. The training and placement department is of huge help in training students for the aptitude tests.

College Events

3.5

The college day is the main Attraction there are other major events like the sports day, fests conducted by different branches and so on. Technical events like the National Technological Conference and Inter college level project expos are organized to facilitate the Creativity of Students.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is feasible for the students. there are no hidden charges or fees that the management collects from ts students all the fees collected are reasonable and nominal if the admission is through the management or the NRI quota, the fees would be a bit high.

Fees and Financial Aid

The top performers from each departments will be rewarded by cash and mementos by the management the top performers in the different admission tests like CET are also are admitted to the college with a minimal fees these are the only scholarships i know.

Campus Life

4

Campus life is awesome for people who like a calm atmosphere there is no much noise around the campus. There is a medical college and a dental college in the campus gender ratio seems to be fine(i don't have the numbers to prove) people in the surroundings are also very supportive.

Hostel Facilities

4

Hostel facilities are good. there are facilities in the hostel for recreation and sports. There is no gym in the campus but there are gyms in the surroundings which are again reasonably charged rooms are tidy and cleaned everyday food would be an issue for people from far because the hostel foods have not many varieties.

Alumni/Alumna

Alumni Network is fine. The college organizes an alumni reunion every year in order to promote the alumni relations of the college. Senior students are very helpful in both academic and co-curricular activities.

Exam Structure

Exams are all conducted as scheduled by the VTU faculty also conducts tests regularly throughout the academic year to help the students get the hang of the semester exams on the way faculty helps the students in preparing for the competitive exams like GATE AMCAT, Elitmus etc.

Faculty

4.5

Brilliant faculty. Especially the heads and other professors of departments they have teaching experience as well as Industrial experience(Not all of them) are passionate towards imparting knowledge to the students and encouraging further studies.

Placement Experience:

Placements at RNS Institute of Technology are good. Students become eligible for campus placements from the 6th or 7th semester. Many companies visit the college, including IT and core companies. Some of the common recruiters include TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Accenture, and a few core companies for EEE. The average package is around 3 to 5 LPA, and higher packages are also offered for top-performing students. The highest package can go much higher depending on the company. Around 70–80% of students get placed, mainly in IT roles. For EEE students, core placements are limited, but there are good opportunities in software roles. The college also provides training and support for placements. After completing my degree, I plan to get placed in a good company and build my career.

Most of the students get placed from the campus placements. Students get eligible for campus placements from the fifth semester. Companies like HP, Infosys, Wipro come for recruiting and make offers from 3L per annum to 30 L per annum. Around 70 percent of the students get placed through campus placement. I plan on working for a dream company after completing my degree.

Placement Experience:

I applied to colleges like BMSIT and Sir MVIT, and I had confirmed seats there, too. I chose RNSIT because it has a better reputation for placements in my branch and the campus environment felt more welcoming. I didn't get into RVCE because my KCET rank wasn't high enough for their top branches, as the competition was very tough that year. The admission process is simple. They mainly take students through KCET and COMEDK. You need at least 45% in your 12th boards (PCM). Most students prefer KCET because the fees are lower. Once the seat is allotted through counseling, you just visit the campus, submit your documents, and pay the fees. The whole process was quite smooth and well-organized."

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is very unique, and very new, we are not taught irrelevant subjects and topics like every university does, Polaris school of technology (PST) is a new gen college which mainly focuses on tech, producing the best engineers not amongst india but amongst the world, it's aim is to produce engineers who are better than IITians and MITians, all these specifications influenced me to choose this course/curriculum When it comes to real-world applications, Polaris school of technology(PST) gives us real-life problems and scenario based projects through evaluations which help us in the future and helps us to build a proper approach for problems and train us to be the best. We have two main exams per sem which would be conducted every 3 months that is ½th of the sem, we have a total of 8 sems, so total 16 exams, our exams would be difficult for other college students, but not for us as we have the best mentors.
