Entrance Preview

I didn't took any entrance exam to get in this college.i joined through TNEA 2013 if i got a chance by IIT JEE exam, definitely i would have not taken this college. Its my bad time i took this college i prefer city side colleges, but if you are not in that situation and you are about to study in a anna university constituent college, then this will be a fair choice.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

Studying and getting a degree like a book worm is the only option here there is no place for practical studies or research on the topics if a student is interested ,may be some of the staffs will support them other than that, the course completion is the main aim for most of the students.

Internships Opportunities

No internship or other job related training are give or supported from the college side we could go by ourselves with the bonafire letter they will provide us the bonafire only other than that, they don't care for any skill development of students.

Placement Experience

2.5

We cant dream of job, while studying in this college only very few MNC companies will come and also they would select only less than 5 members. No special training or practices are given for placement. It's all based on student's interest to get placed in companies. Only about 10-15 members will get placed by end of their course and left remains with the empty hand.

College Events

2.5

Several Workshops conducted by the various departments. "Agnimithra" is the Whole College Symposium conducted in the every year cultural and sports day are conducted as the same. External College students are allowed only for workshops and symposium.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fees structure is feasible by all category students for a semester, we pay about 17,000INR (general) 7,000(SC/ST) Hostel Fees is about 20,000INR. The exam fees is apart from these, and Industrial visit fees will not be provided. Some Of the money will not come to the students.

Fees and Financial Aid

As it is a Government college ,many scholarships are provided from both govt. and ngo's. Many students have beneficial through those schemes.

Campus Life

3

It is feel free campus with pleasant environment other than mechanical Tamizh and English medium departments ,all other departments are dominated by girls in the ratio no student parties are there, College has a strength of about 1000 students lab facilities are good and there are no discrimination based on religion, race or ethnicity. Workshops, Symposiums and cultural programs are conducted every year. Only few number of sports are practised and not many students are encouraged.

Hostel Facilities

3

Hostel is very average one ,with average food only twice in week Non veg food is provided there is no limit in food, but the taste in average hostel facilities are quite good but there is no wifi and only one television for the whole hostel students has to walk for kms to get the stationery items and food items.

Alumni/Alumna

I have heard of many alumni networks but none of the was useful any students are currently in that networks very few of them is caring and supporting the juniors that too in person only.

Exam Structure

Exam is the most critical part it's all based on the student's practice to pass the examination mo special coaching or series of tests and revisions are conducted by the faculty members. it's your ability for both theory and practical exams. It's based on the teachers ,for providing internal marks and practical grades. It varies sometimes based on partiality.

Faculty

3

I'm Studying in the department of information technology, in my department most of the faculties are student friendly and support us in various ways gent staffs are quiet friendly where as you cant expect the same from ladies staff's only a few are egoistic and sees partiality in providing marks for the students. Internal politics and ego problems ,all occurs in between the staffs.
