My experience with UCEV

College management should increase employment rate of students by providing more campus interviews to final year students.More test should be conducted before semester exam.

Overall curriculum experience was good in my college.Machine Labs provided by our colleg were industry standard ones.highly comparable with reputed private engineering colleges.So we get easily get industry specific knowledge.after first year,Yearly ones industrial visits was organized for students.Exam structure was not upto the mark.

To be honest our college suffers lot on placements issue especially in Mechanical engineering department.only one mechanical company visited our campus.For other department's decent campus offer is there.

National level technical symposium is conducted by our college in grand manner with associates of anna university, ceg campus for every odd semester. Culturals,Sports meet were also conducted for students. National level workshops and paper presentations are also held in our campus.where research fellows,industrial personalities are called for guest of honour.

Since my college is government aided, fee structure are feasible only.they strictly follow the government norms.Fees are paid only through online mode.so there is transparency in mode of fee payments.No extra charges have been asked from students other than government prescribed ones.Also scholarship have been provided to schedule caste students.

Since my father work for government organization I'm not eligible for availing scholarship. As per my knowledge with friends scholarships I can say that avail some thing around 10000 for a year as government scholarship.

Since I'm from Mechanical department, my classroom is filled with boys.only one girl studied with us.On other hand most of department class are filled with girls when compared with boys strength.Our college campus is free from ragging activities.There is no racial discrimination among students and teachers.

Though I'm a day scholar, I have some knowledge about our college hostel by my hostel friends.Hostel rooms shareable with 4 peoples.Canteen provide decent food with non veg(only sunday).Rooms are well maintained.

Experience with my college seniors are ease one.most of the seniors are good hearted and interact with us in friendly manner.so there will be no issues with seniors.

I got admission through TNEA counseling. Admission process is very simple after getting my HSC exams results I applied for TNEA counseling. Based on my cut-off Mark's I have been called for counseling in Anna university CEG campus. Where I called to select college and department what i prefer.My cut-off mark is 188.5/200 so I got vacancy in anna university constituency college. I selected Mechanical engineering as my stream.since it was rated top in my college.

Tecahing Faculty for our department are highly experienced and professional well versed.All the faculty had sound knowledge in their subject.Most of the professor are PhD holders.Only area they have to concentrate is english communication.most of the faculty lacks on english communication while taking class.
