GLIM HONEST REVIEW

The admission process is as follows: first, we gotta apply through their website and wait for the call. Then a centre would be alloted to you for GD and PI rounds. Both the rounds would happen simultaneously. Your results would be sent to your email I'd. (This is purely based on my 2019 experience, the current process could be completely different). The reason why I chose this college- the faculty is top-notch, and their pedagogy is excellent(although I knew it only after joining the institute). The main reason I chose this institute is that it's located in my home town (50kms from my home). The other main reason for choosing this institute is its campus infrastructure. The hostel room, the bathrooms are daily cleaned. The placements were good on paper. The cons - for PGDM course - rooms are shared. A lot of smoking inside the bathrooms and rooms. Placement is good but not as per your likings.

I chose Marketing as a major as my interest was inclined towards sales/digital marketing etc. A class would have 1 faculty + 1 Teaching Assistant and around 80 students. All faculties are Highly qualified with 20-35 years of industry experience and have an excellent articulation. Each has their own pedagogy. There are two types of exams 1) Midterm and 2) Enter. They are well-timed and it's easy to pass if you study listen in class or study at the last minute. Although scoring top marks requires constant contact with the subject.

Name of the companies cannot be disclosed as per our college guidelines although interested students can contact through the LinkedIn profile of GLIM students. The Summer Internship process starts a few months after joining the course.

The placement starts from 4th semester, (GLIM follows a trimester). Some students might get a pre-placement offer from their Summer Internship. Placement details cannot be disclosed. Although interested students can approach GLIM students through LinkedIn as they would be more than willing to help.

The fees structure for 2019 - 2021 is 16.65 Lakhs. This fee structure is justified compared to other institutes. They have loan facilities available through certain banks. I got a summer internship through the institute and also my final placements were through in the month of October 2020.

The campus life is amazing with many ups and little downs. All the facilities are available, from books in the library to all kinds of outdoor sports. Badminton, Tennis, Cricket, Football, Basketball, Table tennis, Billiards, Volleyball etc. Also, the gym is available. There are various committees, like the Branding and PR committee, Placecom, Foodcom, etc.

The program is 100% residential. The hostel is good. For PGDM it's a double occupancy room. The room has 2 separate beds with 1 study table, 1 almirah and 1 bookshelf. The meal is quite decent. The hostel keys would be handed over to you immediately as you complete your registration.

It's a holistic approach. The criteria are based on your entrance exam scores and also your profile.

Topics for GD - I really don't remember. The PI was more about my resume and why MBA? The process was simple, GD and simultaneously PI. I was preparing for CAT from IMS institute and they offered some training for attending the GD and PI process.
