Remarks
I want to pursue BTech and I found SKIT college is the most suitable one for me. Here are a few points about why I would this college. The college has a very good placement record. Most of the staff is good and teaches really well. Along with academics, the college focuses on extracurricular activities too. Many clubs are there for interested students like- sports, dance, music, art etc. Admissions are taken through reap merit list which used to release at the end of May every year.
Course Curriculum Overview
I have opted for BTech in Computer Science stream as I want to go in the technical field. All faculty members are highly experienced and are well qualified. They guide the students regularly. There are about 150 facilities in this college. My course is of 4 years which includes 8 semesters, 6 months each. If you pay proper attention to the classes then you can easily pass the exams without any backlog.
Placement Experience
My college has a good placement record. If you are not having any backlog then 95% chances are there that you will secure good placement. Many multinational companies came there like Tata Consultancy Services, Capgemini, Infosys, Cognizant, Byzus, Wipro and offer good offers to students. 97% of the students get placement every year. The average package of the college is approx about 3-4 lakhs. And the highest one is about 12 lakhs.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee structure for one sem is approx 45000 i.e. around 1 lakh per year. College gives scholarship to those students who perform best In the exams. It is too much helpful to those students who are intelligent in studies and they have no fees to pay. Also if you belong to TFWS category then you will get a scholarship from RTU as well.
Campus Life
College library has all types of books. There is a digital library too so that students can learn through video lectures. The college organises PRAVAH it's annual fest every year at the moth of February. Many events are conducted in the fest. Also, there is a sports meet named AAVEG to promote sportsmanship among students. The campus is of 13 acres with 2 basketball courts, 2 volleyball courts, 2 tennis courts, table tennis. The college focuses on both academics and non-academics field equally. There is a number of clubs in college to develop inter-personal skills of students.
Hostel Facilities
Hostels are neat and clean. All the rooms are single that is one room for one student. Washrooms are washed and cleaned regularly. Proper cleaning is done by the staff members. Hostel warden regularly checks the students guide us.
