Entrance Preview

I have appeared for OJEE entrance exam and I don't remember the score but it was quite great. I choose Trident Electronics & Tele-Communication branch.

Course Curriculum Overview

I have decided I will take either ETC or EEE branch as my cushion brother was undergoing B.Tech course. He suggested me to go for ETC or EEE. During 2009 Trident was having ETC,EEE,CS & IT branch, later on, Trident added Civil, Electrical & Mechinal.

Internships Opportunities

I am not sure about the internship, but Training & Placement department of TAT organises many training programs, technical seminars, robotics, computer hacking workshop, campus connect soft skills course etc.

Placement Experience

Placements are quite good in Trident. Many IT companies are visiting Trident. During 2009, TCS requited 60 students offering a salary of 3.16 per annum. Many other companies were also visited. In 2016, 70 requiters visited Trident & in 2015 about 56 requiters visited.

Fees and Financial Aid

The college also helps in providing study loans to students. Scholarships are also awarded to meritorious students. For more details, it's better to connect with the college administrative officer (AO).

Exam Structure

Exam structure is as per BPUT guidelines. In a year there will be 2 semesters and in each semesters, 3 internal exams will be conducted by the college. All the Student have to perform all the Practical/Lab test and viva will be conducted at the end of each Lab assignment or there will be final viva at the end of all Lab assignments.

Faculty

The Department was started with an intake of 60 undergraduate students. Subsequently, the intake was increased to 90 in the year 2006. Finally the intake increase to 120 during the year 2007. The Department started post graduate (M.Tech) course in Electronics and Communication with an annual intake of 18 students from 2012.

IIIT Bhubaneswar means technology!

Placement Experience:

Amazon, Google, Wipro, HCL Tech and many such which has been around for a while in the tech business and has built tech for many overseas companies too are the ones which have already started coming. I am in my final year and around 40% students have already been recruited and I hope before this semester ends, i too get placements.

Our college give good placement but packages are very low package start with 150000 and end in 700000 . But you study properly then you try pursuing higher studies. 40% students placed but below 400000 . after completing you try off campus placement then you secured good salary on good company.

placements are average...not feels like an iit but its ok ...this yaer percentage of placement was 90% and highest ctc was of 67.4 LPA with median of 12LPA and average of 17 LPA ...most of the placements for SDE roles. My plan is to finish my degree as soon as possible and get placed for a SDE role so that i can survive

Placement Experience:

The placement stats of IIT Bhubaneswar are quite good. For the 2025 placement season, the highest CTC was 67.6 LPA and the mean CTC was 14.5 LPA, with a total of 22 PPO offers. Approximately 90% students were placed this year. Major recruiters were Google, Oracle, Zomato, Goldman Sachs, NVIDIA and Meesho. This year, there were 5 international offers (4 from Accenture Japan and 1 core offer from Niterra Japan).

Placement Experience:

the placement is also not that much great. they are very few companies TCS and Infosys are the mass recuriter here . The core companies are close to null . So you have to go to only to the IT companies that to at a very low package . My students work for as low as 2.5 lac per annum . This year almost everybody was between 3lac to 10lac bracket . The highest on campus package are about 25 lac . Not more than that most of time. and the average package is almost about 3-4 lac per annum . The percentage of the students placed is also really bad . Most of the students have to hurdle by himself.

Life at Trident college

I chose Trident academy of Technology due to its affordable fees , decent placements, Faculty support.The admission process was based on JEE Mains scores,followed by counselling.Compared to KIIT or CET ,TAT is more budget friendly but lacks advanced labs and strong industry exposure . Placement are decent , especially for IT roles . I couldn't make it to other Engineering colleges due to cutt off marks and financial reasons ,But TAT Still provides good learning opportunities....Read More

A Engineering students lifestory

Trident is a private college and in 2021 it was the only college we could afford. In other hand i had another college silicon institute of technology in my mind but the admission fees was on a higher side. There is no such cutoffs in this college the only thing i know is you have to apper jee mains to apply in this college.
