Remarks

Well experienced teachers, good infrastructure, college bus facility at less cost, greenery and quiet an environment made us concentrate and study well. College was a bit far, that was the only disadvantage. As it was a new college, placements had just started. So a few good companies were partnered with SPCE. My admission went really smooth. The first day when I came to visit this college, one of the college faculty had toured me around the whole campus. The infrastructure was really good, our college had a huge playground, a large canteen, where there was amazing food, many classrooms and labs, with different machine equipment for learning. All the formalities were listed down really quick, from my kcet to my stream selection. Once the payment was done, I received a letter regarding my payment. I prefered this college because of low fees structure and had heard a lot about the teachers and provided individual attention. I had heard about this college from my friend, who joined me.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

As IT was a booming industry, I prefer to take this course, as it would help me a lot in my future. As there was only one batch in the computer science field, individual attention was given to students, where all our doubts were answered. Students were assigned mentors, 1 mentor to 5 students, to discuss the student's performance and get feedback regarding the progress. Teachers of SPCE were experienced for at least 8-10 years in their fields. I would give it a 9/10 in teaching, as all the aspects and questions were answered and taught to us on time. We had really good teachers, so the exams weren't tuff. One could easily clear exams and get good marks.

Placement Experience

3

From 3 rd year, students are eligible to attend campus. There were few companies that visited SPCE. Companies such as American eagle, Startup companies had come to. our college. 4.2 lakh package would be offered if a student cracks the interview. And start-up. companies offered packages around 2.8 to 3.3 lakhs. The minimum percentage requires to attend the interview was 60 or 6.0 cgpa. 60% of the students were placed through college placements and others were placed through drives that took place in other colleges I always wanted to get selected in an IT firm in a good position.

Fees and Financial Aid

The college fee was really affordable, as it was within 80000 in management, and students who joined through kcet had to pay fewer fees. As I come from OBC caste, I had an opportunity to get a government scholarship from the college. Our college conducted other competitions as well where we could participate and earn cash prizes. As it was a new college, a few job campus were tired up with SPCE. once HP had come to our college for a campus drive.

Campus Life

4

We had annual fest conducted as TARANG. SPCE has a spacious library, which contained many academic books and many magazines about the daily lifestyle, the latest trend and technology, and had many famous books as well for students to study and learn. we had a 15 days library return policy, where students could keep the book for 15 days and return it. SPCE had a huge football /cricket/ volleyball ground, where students could play games, equipment was provided by the college. SPCE had indoor games as well such as table tennis, carrom and chess. Many cubs were formed in SPCE such as nature's club, extra carricular club, programmers club etc.

Interview Experience

3

There was no GD, or interview at the time of admission as I had opted a seat from management. Students joining from kcet had to get selected by the college based on their ranks and were assigned streams.

Placement Experience:

Placements at RNS Institute of Technology are good. Students become eligible for campus placements from the 6th or 7th semester. Many companies visit the college, including IT and core companies. Some of the common recruiters include TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Accenture, and a few core companies for EEE. The average package is around 3 to 5 LPA, and higher packages are also offered for top-performing students. The highest package can go much higher depending on the company. Around 70–80% of students get placed, mainly in IT roles. For EEE students, core placements are limited, but there are good opportunities in software roles. The college also provides training and support for placements. After completing my degree, I plan to get placed in a good company and build my career.

Most of the students get placed from the campus placements. Students get eligible for campus placements from the fifth semester. Companies like HP, Infosys, Wipro come for recruiting and make offers from 3L per annum to 30 L per annum. Around 70 percent of the students get placed through campus placement. I plan on working for a dream company after completing my degree.

Placement Experience:

I applied to colleges like BMSIT and Sir MVIT, and I had confirmed seats there, too. I chose RNSIT because it has a better reputation for placements in my branch and the campus environment felt more welcoming. I didn't get into RVCE because my KCET rank wasn't high enough for their top branches, as the competition was very tough that year. The admission process is simple. They mainly take students through KCET and COMEDK. You need at least 45% in your 12th boards (PCM). Most students prefer KCET because the fees are lower. Once the seat is allotted through counseling, you just visit the campus, submit your documents, and pay the fees. The whole process was quite smooth and well-organized."

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is very unique, and very new, we are not taught irrelevant subjects and topics like every university does, Polaris school of technology (PST) is a new gen college which mainly focuses on tech, producing the best engineers not amongst india but amongst the world, it's aim is to produce engineers who are better than IITians and MITians, all these specifications influenced me to choose this course/curriculum When it comes to real-world applications, Polaris school of technology(PST) gives us real-life problems and scenario based projects through evaluations which help us in the future and helps us to build a proper approach for problems and train us to be the best. We have two main exams per sem which would be conducted every 3 months that is ½th of the sem, we have a total of 8 sems, so total 16 exams, our exams would be difficult for other college students, but not for us as we have the best mentors.
