The selection at my time for Finolex Academy of Management and Technology, Ratnagiri used to happen on merit basis. Also, I had appeared for AIEEE examination.

Since the college is affiliated to University of Mumbai, the course curriculum was based on the guidelines received from University. I was the student of Electronics engineering and our curriculum included all fundamental of engineering plus the last year also included the courses for telecommunication.

No, the college did not provide any internship when I was student there, not sure if there is any changes with respect to the same.

The Academy has a well established training and placement cell, headed by Prof. Students in the second and third year are encouraged to take summer training in various industries. Final year students, generally who score 60% in all semesters/examinations, have excellent chances of getting placements through campus interviews. Every year, students who graduate are placed in one of the renowned companies through such campus interviews.

Finolex Academy of Management and Technology, Ratnagiri hosted events like Brainwaves and Utopia every year on a massive scale. Students from other engineering colleges were also invited to participate in various events and competition. The events were organised for almost a week and many committees were formed to handle and hosted the events.

No scholarship / loan facility was offered by the college when I was student. Few years before I heard, they have started with the program for the same.

Exam structure was well planned and the schedules were shared well in advance. Also, we used to get adequate leaves between the exams. Exams were conducted theoretically and as well as practically. Labs were completed much before the written exams - giving us good amount of time for preparation.
