At St Aloysius University, students typically become eligible for campus placements from the 5th semester onward. Reputed companies like Infosys, wipro, TCS etc have visited the campus offering multiple roles in IT services, research and analytics. The highest package has been around 7-8 LPA while the average has been around 3-4 LPA depending on the company and the profile of the student. REVA University, Bachelor of Science [B.Sc] (Biotechnology)
Reviewed on Jul 4, 2025(Enrolled 2023)

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would rate it around 8/10 for relevance and comprehensiveness. I chose this course because it offered solid foundational subjects that aligned with my interests. The curriculum prepares students well for higher studies and provides decent exposure to lab techniques. However, for real world readiness, it could be improved. Teaching methods are mostly theory-heavy and would benefit from interactive approaches. Exams are moderately difficult and conceptual clarity and regular revision helps in scoring well.

Placement Experience:

First of all, there isn't a passed out batch yet(as of 2025). The first batch enrolled in 2023 and they are currently in internship period as they've planned. Placement will be offered at the end of 4th year. Although for internships, around 50+ companies visited and 96% of students got internships. The average stipend was 30,000 INR and the highest stipend was 200,000 INR (non-domestic). My plans after getting the degree are to gain some experience and go for a masters in business if possible.
