Remarks

The main reason for me to get to this College is, it's near my place which saves me from too much of Mumbai's hectic traffic. SFIT is a well-known college for its discipline, this college gets the best placement among other colleges in the locality. With an average package of 3 LPA

Course Curriculum Overview

Electronics and telecommunication engineering is one of the emerging technologies, which attracts students. There is 2 div. Per year (120 students). Around 10/15 faculty members handle this branch. Two internal assessment tests are conducted each semester, with practical and viva questions.

Course Fees: INR 100070 per year

Placement Experience

From 6 sem students start their placement journey, where you can get an Internship or a job, we also have two sessions since 3 sem for having a practice of interview, technical round, MCQ round, etc. Here average is 3 LPA, after getting a degree I am pretty sure I'll get a campus job

The average fee is about 1 lakh per year, here the average package is 3 LPA, from companies including TCS, Wipro, Tata communications,byjus, etc. Fees structure is provided on the website, you also get internship opportunities.

Campus Life

There are 2 annual fests conducted every year first is a technical fest, where students are supposed to make fun and interesting games, quiz for their juniors, who can participate in these events to win prizes and get hands-on new techniques. There is a vast collection of books, almost every yearbook is available in the library, if not desktop is provided for the online library. We can also issue books so we can take them home, classroom's are quite spacious with a locker where you can keep daily required things. Every classroom is provided with a projector. Students have access to gymkhana which have basic indoor sports, we also have a basketball court and a volleyball court, badminton court for outdoor sports.

Placement Experience:

From 7th Sem, students are eligible for placements and undergo placement training. Many companies has visited so far but the big ones are Godrej, BEL, Framatome, etc. The highest package for mechanical was 7.5 LPA and the avg package was around 5 LPA with a majority of job roles as GET. Placement Experience:

Highest is still unbeatable as one student in 2023 got a paycheck of 50 lakhs per annum from SIT. Even the average is over 10 lakhs now as most students are placed through SIT placements cell.

Course curriculum is also good and it is explained in detail on the college's website and there are labs for the courses which made learning fast and easy. Relevance(industry alignment)->8/10 The curriculum is designed to keep up with the industry needs especially in fast growing fields like computer science, management, design and pharmacy. Updated course such as AI, machine learning, cybersecurity, data science and 3D printing are included for tech students. Industry exposure depends on the students initiative it's not equally strong in every department. SFIT the brave,the bold and the pressured

I entered thru cap round which plays a significant role in course eligibility in prestigious colleges , this college was recommended to me by a long stream of family members and it has lived upto a part of its reputation. I didn't get rejected but SFIT my 3rd most important college as I had to check for other better colleges which i knew i couldn't get in as part of a strategy. Eligibility depends on aspects like college minority and minority eligibility in this case Catholic or Christian need to have 65 plus in percentile of CET .
