Remarks
The good aspect of this college is that its government grand college so low tuition fees and the second reason are its placement .its almost 100 percent every year as we have only a batch of 30 to 40 students to be placed per year. The bad thing is you have to do everything on your own like studies organize annual events etc faculty will not help or support any of these. Admission is based on your CMAT Gujarat mca merit prepared by ACPC and it's done at the month of July every year. The only reason for selecting this college is placement.
Course Curriculum Overview
It's best for the IT field and for students doing BCA or BSC Faculty to students ratio is almost 1:10 Most of the faculty are having a Ph.D. or perusing a Ph.D. Only some faculty have good teaching methods rest are just coming to skip chapters or important topics or tell the syllabus over if the syllabus is not completed before exams so most subject we have to do self-learning. We have 2 internal tests and one term test every 6 months.
Internships Opportunities
Almost 90 percent of companies which visit campus offers internship. There are roles like trainee backend developers trainee full-stack developers android internt etc Some companies offer modules to work on while some company offers to work on live project
Placement Experience
Form 5th semester our placement process starts. There are many companies like TCS, ECW, envoys that conduct placement overall there are about 18 to 20 companies that do campus placement in our college The highest annual package is around 4 LPA and the average package is around 3 to 2.8 LPA Almost 90 percent of students get a job offer. I am having an internship at one of our recruiters and then will get a job offer at the same company
Fees and Financial Aid
Government aid college so fees are never increased its 7500 per year No scholarship for students as it's a government college. although one may opt for a central government scholarship for the reserved category.
Campus Life
We conduct one annual tech fest in February or March month every year and it's organized by Mca second-year students We have a library and all major computer science books are available there for reference. Basic amenities are available except for drinking water which we have to arrange on our own as the purifier is not working for years. No extra activity is done apart from studying and also we don't have any social groups for student
Hostel Facilities
Basic facilities are provided in the hostel. We don't have meals provided by our hostel although we have a mesh where meals are served but they are charged 40 rs per meal and its quality is not good. We have to register after confirmation of admission and all process is done by the college. It is affordable as its charge is very less due to government grant
Interview Experience
Admission is done based on a CMAT score We don't have any interview or gd We have to appear for the CMAT exam held every year in January and admission is done by acpc which is the state government body for conducting admissions in Mca or mba course. You need to start preparing for these exam a year before the test.
