Remarks

The admission process takes place online. The student has to look for the online enrollment dates and submit the application. If the student is eligible it sends a mail that they have been selected and particular dates are given to go to college and submit hard copies. The college has experienced faculty and a vast library. The college encourages students to participate in all kinds of extracurricular activities and not just make them focus on their studies. The food in the canteen is good. The college has an auditorium, indoor stadium, outdoor sports area, parking space for students. All the classrooms have projectors and screens. I chose this college because it is the best in the city for girls to pursue degrees.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

I chose a BA in Mass communication with Literature and Social Management because I am interested in the field of journalism. There are about 60 students in the mass communication class. The room is spacious and teachers use ppts for teaching purposes. We have internals and externals every semester.

Placement Experience

3.5

Students are eligible for campus placements from the 5th semester. Many companies come for placements like - google, radio FM, Deloitte, amazon. etc. I am a second-year student so I do not know much about the packages offered. I am planning on doing my MA in Mass communication abroad after I complete my BA.

Fees and Financial Aid

Pretty much all the courses' fees are around 50000-60000 per annum. The fees are to be paid at once. But this year due to covid we were given a chance to pay the fees in installments which made it easier for students.

Campus Life

4

The college conducts fests every now and then. There are different clubs for different groups. Students can join any club they are interested in. These clubs enhance the skills of the students in that particular field. The college library has books of all kinds. It is vast. The classrooms have projectors and a computer.

From the last semester which is the 6th sem, the students are allowed to go for placements. The companies that visited included Deloitte and other companies as such. that visit the college. And the highest package was around 5 lakh per annum. The placements were in full go only for courses like BCOM or BSC Computures, there were no placement opportunities for the course of B.A. There did not take any recruitment take place as such for our course. The percentage of students getting places was very low. The average package was 1 to 2 lakh per annum.
