Likes
- Lectures are highly qualified and their teaching style is very easy to understand. They're very much approachable whenever we, the students had any doubts. Besides studies lecturers are very friendly with us mainly the class mentors.
- College timings and Extra curricular activities are quiet good, we can be a part of various clubs and participate in the activities that were held by the clubs.
- Placements options are good. Since I was graduated during the covid time, very less companies came to hire at the starting but our placement cell faculty was very supportive in reaching out to the companies.
Dislikes
- There's nothing much to dislike about the college, one can have a wonderful college life by studying there.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course content and it's interdisciplinary approach has made me to choose the course. Practical skills through hands on projects and our access to research opportunities help a lot. They should improve in the practical exposure that they give to students by offering internships from different industries. Exams are challenging but fair, we only have one mid term and one semester exams. Their frequency and timing are well structured. We also have to give presentations which holds a good score for the finals
Placement Experience
Once you start studying the final year you will be eligible for the placements. Many companies including the big four in the finance sector has also approached the college to hire candidate. You will have to check with the college on other details.
Fees and Financial Aid
Fees for both the years will be very close. I paid 58k for first semester and 60k for the second semester. We will have to pay for other extra participanting actives which will cost less than 5k. As per my knowledge there's no scholarship option available but if needed the college will give you an option to pay the fee in installments.
Campus Life
Every department will have their individual clubs and one or the other activities will be held every now and then. Most of the books are available in the library. One who can't afford to buy the semester books can take it from the library. We will also have to be a part of NCC , NSS or sports based on our interest and we get credits for that.
Admission
The eligibility to get a seat in the college, application form, dates will be clear mentioned the college website. One can easily understand the process as it will be mentioned clearly. Exams are challenging but fair. They're well structured and will help the student in learning.
Faculty
Though it is said that smaller size of the class fosters an impact learning, we never felt it that way. We were 70 in the class and our lecturers made sure on the class participation. Faculty members mostly hold an advanced degrees and they are always approachable. If we have any doubts we can go and check with them whenever they are available in the staff rooms.
