Remarks

First of all, I will like to say that it's a University, and many other colleges of Gurugram, which I was preferring to take admissions in, fall under it. Moreover, the university was offering me a specialization in my field, that is, Computer Science and many other major choices. The not so good thing about university is that hostel facilities for students are not available and university premises is not so big as compared to other universities. The admission is the university is done on a Merit basis and there are no fixed dates as it's newly established. My opinion on why others should prefer this university is that it offers around 22 courses along with specialization in some and fees is not so expensive such as B.Tech (CS with AI) is 40,000 per year, which I am currently pursuing.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

I choose Computer Science specialized in Artificial Intelligence as I had a great interest in Robots and automated cars like Tesla which works on the Artificial Intelligence concept (alongside Machine Learning). There is enough faculty in each branch and the ratio is such as 7:60. Faculties are qualified up to Ph.D. in different branches while some are on Masters basis too. There are two-term exams for a year which includes a summer-term and a winter-term and each term consists of two seasonal and paper level is meant to be at a middle-level so that everyone can pass.

Placement Experience

4.5

As it is a newly established university so cannot say anything about placement as my batch will be the first one to be placed and plans to get a handsome job/placement after the completion of the degree.

Fees and Financial Aid

There is no such fee hike policy as such till yet as I am paying 40,000 per anum for the last two years and the cost of the study is affordable as 40.000 is the highest fees offered by the university that too for B.Tech. course. There is no such scholarship or financial assistance provided by the university except the ones offered by the government to OBC and SC/ST caste. P.S. Don't know about the stipend at the job as I am still studying.

Campus Life

4.5

In the university, the annual test is conducted each summer and winters alongside the seasonal in between them. The summer term is conducted in the May-June month and the winter-term is conducted in December-January. Most each and every book is available in the university library and journals are present too and the ones which are not present in the library are made available as soon as possible. Sports facilities are present but not in abundance as only basketball and volleyball court is there and extracurricular are conducted in the university on each festival in which cash prize to the top three is awarded.

Yes, the campus placements are provided. The students are eligible to do internships after six semester. The highest offered package is about 10,00,000 per annum, and the average package is 5,40,000 per annum. In my batch, all the students are placed. At present, I am doing internship at Honda Car India Limited and want to continue in this company at least for three years.

Placement Experience:

Here in KR Mangalam University, plcement opportunities start from the 6th semester. Many companies come to the campus for placements like Wipro, TCS, Infosys, HCL, and a few startups too. Some students also get internships before placements. The highest package offered was around 36 LPA and the average package is between 7 to 9 LPA. Most students get placed especially those who have good coding and communication skills. The university also helps students for their interviews and written , aptitude tests through training programs such as boot camps and my more ideas. After completing my degree, I plan to either get a job through campus placement or prepare for higher studies like M.Tech or go for government exams depending on situations.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course structure was very good, syllabus contains all the relevant thing you need to know if we one or two subjects. But what they teaches you will not get you a job, you need to do hardwork and it is same for almost all colleges. You can buy some fancy courses and can study from that.

Several companies come for the placement purpose which goes with interviews. As college has large strength so obviously its not necessary everyone will get the placement but they still try that no one will be left at least one should stand in 2 or 3 interviews plus my opinion is to also try outside waiting for the placement from college is okay but one should try outside my plans are to complete my course have one or two practice jobs then doing mtech .
