Entrance Preview

Passed Diploma in Mechanical Engineering with 72%, and got the admission to direct 2nd year. After 10 the automotive passion pulled me to this college which was a great journey.

Internships Opportunities

In earlier days it was included in the syllabus the internship of at least 3 months and college provided the same. But now internship is not there in the syllabus but those who are interested, college provides a letter to them to join anywhere for interview.

College Events

Two festival are arranged in this college. Green and Purple Events. One is the sports and other is the just pass time. The sports one is my favourite. there are inter-branch matches including cricket basketball football kabbaddi and many more. Importance to sports is same as the studies in my college.

Fees and Financial Aid

The maharashtra and indian central government provides the scholarships to the minority students. But there are a number of institutes in college to provide financial help to those are weak at the same.

Campus Life

Campus life of this college is awesome. A little humid but you can enjoy your college life. and as the courses provided are technical the gender ratio is a little less. Men to women ratio is around 10:7. This is negligible because we are here for studies, not for making a match or its not any shaadi.com

Exam Structure

Exam structure is based upon the university rules. Which includes external and internals, oral exams, practicals. All the exams are held in college. There is no escape from any of exam or a unit test which is there in the syllabus. All the Do's and Dont's are strictly followed by the college.

Admission

I applied to the minority quota. It was an offline form I applied. The merit list according to the percentage is displayed on the college site. It was my 49th merit number in the merit list. The date is given to us to visit the college and get the admission.

Faculty

70% faculties are done with their Ph.d in respective subjects. There is a Faculty who started anew subject in Mumbai university is from our college and the subject is Autotronics. They do not teach us, they guide us convey us. they are very ambitious.

we can apply for PPO from sem 6 onwards , and for placements we can apply from start of 7th sem , with a great placement percenatage of above 80% and avg package of entc as 6lpa , and highest pack. of 61lpa in uber , mass recruiter as capgemini and kpit , the ones who have not got placed can opt for masters and specificvcation in some cources ...

Why I Chose PCCOE: A Student’s Perspective on Academics and Opportunities

Placement Experience:

For 5th semester students become eligible for internship (stipend based)...And from 7th semester for placements. TCS, Infosys, Cognizant, Capgemini, Wipro, Tech Mahindra – for software roles Larsen & Toubro, Honeywell, Siemens, KPIT, Bosch, Persistent Systems – for core engineering roles (ENTC, Mechanical, IT) Other startups & IT product companies also visit for internships and full-time offers. Highest Package: Around ?24–28 LPA (mainly for CSE/IT students in product-based companies like Goldman Sachs, Amazon, TCS iON, etc.) Average Package: Around ?4.5–6 LPA for core and IT companies, and ?3.5–5 LPA for ENTC students. Each year, over 90% of CSE/IT/ENTC students get placed. Branch-specific placements may vary: CSE usually sees 95–98% placements, ENTC around 85–90%, and other branches slightly lower. The Real Experience: Strengths and Shortcomings of PCCOE

Placement Experience:

The college has a dedicated Training and Placement(T&P) cell and has regular recruitment drives that work to place students in companies where they will be values highly. Each year, 600-700 students are placed from all the branches. More than 300+ companies visit but the ones that hire are limited such as TCS, Capgemini, Infosys, Tech Mahindra which generally are mass recruiters that look for employees that will work for 3LPA or 4.5LPA. The highest packages go to about 30 to 40 LPA domestic and 61 LPA foreign but it is very rare to get a placement like this and requries considerable effort on the side of the student as well. Average package is 7 LPA for CS/IT branch; 5 LPA for electronics and telecommunications branch; 4 LPA for mechanical. My plan after getting the degree is working for 1-2 years while simultaneously pursuing masters.

Placement Experience:

our college has motorsports clubs so if you are in those clubs you will get very high reputation while the placements. one concern you have to consider is that the will have total 3 campus for the placement drives so the crowd is very high.

Placement Experience:

From semester 6 students can sit for internship drives in college. Companies like BMC, Rapid7, TCS, Capgemini, Accenture ,Barclays visit our college, mostly the hire for SDE role and give traning to selected students. Highest package is 61 LPA and average is 7-8 LPA. Percentage of students getting placed vary each year. I am planning to sit for placement.

My experience at Bharati Vidyapeeth.

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible to apply for placements from the seventh semester. Many Mass recruiters offer jobs to students in our college, some of them being- TCS, Cognizant, Accenture, ICICI Lombard and Capgemini Ai. The average package offered is a around 6LPA and usually the highest package is about 12LPA. Around 65-80% of the students get placed directly from college. I plan to pursue a career in my field after graduation.
