Remarks

The overall quality of education is decent. I would not say great but it's very good compared to other local universities and the campus is big. The campus is not to worry about and they also have cafe coffee day in campus and the seating arrangements in the campus is great there are too many places to seat and chill and the also have gaming zone where you can play in PS4 and there is snooker in the gaming zone, air hockey, table tennis, karaoke, carrom it's worth a visit there and they have full air-conditioned classes and the crowd of this college is pretty decent and staff is humble and cooperative compare to other colleges and the outdoor gaming is also good they have a basketball court and 2 big ground to play. The amenities are pretty decent I would say and they also have 2 canteens and the canteen is darn big. So don't worry about that. This place also has vending machines all over the place to get some snacks and drinks and taking admission in this college is easy.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

I always wanted to be a finance guy that's the reason I got into BFM. There are 7 to 8 faculty members for BFM that's including visiting faculty. All professors holds atleast a master's degree and the exam is not much of a task if you study normally you'll score good subjects are easy and our current favourite faculty is Amit sir he is a gem for BFM department. He is like friend to ours.

Internships Opportunities

3.5

Mostly backend roles got offered as an internship but after completing graduation you can also get placed in the front office. Mostly there are group-based projects to solve and the companies come in VSIT is just good.

Placement Experience

4

After 2nd year you are eligible for internship and campus placements. Companies like JP Morgan, Deloitte, Wipro, TCS, McKinsey visit vidyalankar campus. There are hundred percent placements in vidyalankar.

Fees and Financial Aid

There is very minor fees hike every year and talking about the scholarship I didn't hear anyone getting a scholarship so I think there is no scholarship and yes the job offering is decent the campus placement is 100% but you have to crack tough interviews to get your favourite job and salary.

Campus Life

4

The campus life is great if you have friends. The library is pretty decent too and very cooperative and there are countless numbers of extracurricular activities to offer and the sports is good to we have 2 big tournaments each year DSL and verve with every sport included.

Placement Experience:

At TCSC placements are quite good as anyone. Even the SOBO colleges and Mithibai don't have placements as good as us. So this is why I always dreamt of studying here because since last 6-7 years, Thakur College placements have gone better and higher.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The B.com is not a very comprehensive and complex degree to complete for someone who wants to pursue his/her career in finance. It can be referred as an initial start or push start for one's finance journey over the years. Also the relevance of B.com in real world is gradually decreasing day by day.

The good thing is that the college was not strict and was never forcing us to study rather it was seeing to it that it gave us proper advice and help us reach more towards my career goal. The bad part would be there were may staff which was very dull and was not kind, and no importance was given to correct their behaviour although it was evident by all.
