Remarks

The form for MSc. The programme submitted around march and exam held in July month and session starts from August. First, I was very upset because I got admitted in this university and the amount I had paid is a little bit higher than other well-known universities, but later I realised that this was the best decision I had taken. Because of very hard-working teachers and work holic atmosphere of scholars and free net coaching, I am able to complete my whole CSIR NET, and GATE preparation and even I complete my dissertation from TIFR-H.

Course Curriculum Overview

5

I dont know about faculty-student ratio but each one is specialised for a particular subject. Even contractual are also NET or GATE qualified and permanent faculty have PhDs or postdoc and huge research experience.

Internships Opportunities

4.5

Our university also takes students for internship and they are working with PhD scholars. But our batch was introduced to various reputed institutes like NCBS, TIFR, IIM etc. For internship and DBT provided 50k for dissertation programme.

Placement Experience

4.5

In my course companies are not visited for M.Sc. Student course they take PhD students for placements but yeah we can easily apply for a PhD course in this university and other reputed institutes for better placement in companies.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees are little bit higher 40,000 per semester. But our course is under DBT Programme so each student gets 5,000 reps. Per month or we get 45k after 9 months. And 50k for 4th semester (dissertation programme).

Campus Life

5

The atmosphere of the university is very beautiful and pollution-free. The campus is away from the main city so we only litsen chirping of birds but the availability of all resources are available on the campus. Well established libraries in each department and other central libraries too. Other than that campus also have basketball, cricket, foot ball and bed menton grounds and coats. Hostels have gym and gaming facilities.

Hostel Facilities

4

Hostels and mess are well furnished and very hygienic and meal quality is also great it feels like home and there is no limit of food. Hostel provide both veg and non-veg meals. But one can also take PG or rooms on rent near university.

Interview Experience

3.5

For admission one have to qualify an entrance exam that consists of two parts one part a have general ability and part B based on your subject. It is very basic exam based on graduation level and also includes some basics of 11th and 12th.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I like zoology. Studying the anatomy and physiology of humans has been the most interesting part that i wanted to explore in this field. But this course has just disappointed me as they only repeat subjects related to fishes and invertebrates. The teachers don't trach anything except for 1-2 topics that too in a non serious way. Even we can teach better than them.

Students generally become eligible for campus placements starting from the [e.g., 5th semester for undergraduates or 3rd semester for postgraduates]. This allows them to gain relevant skills and prepare for placement opportunities. 2. Placement Experience:

Placements at my college are average. If no campus placement is offered then students searchs for jobs on their own or get the help fron the elders or professors about the future. After 2nd semester completion, the students become eligible for the campus placements. I don't know the details of the companies that visited and made no offers. the highest average package as per company offered is 12lpa. The percentage is not the main criterion for getting placement it is based on the interviews. My plan after getting the degree is to further pursue studies as a PhD scholar.
