As we are being given online lectures so it is sometimes become difficult to understand some concept so here comes the cooperative nature of the faculty members who are very cooperative They explain each and every concept thoroughly and even gives some pdf books for our reference. Here we also had an interactive session with our seniors so that they can solve our doubts other than academics. At first, I thought that iit Jammu is not that safe as compared to other iits but we were told that it is very safe in our college and also there is a military base camp near our college

If you want to ask why I chose this course then I have only one answer "We shape our building, thereafter they shape us" I think you should have got your answer also there is a good package of civil engineer in the government sector(fun fact) Now coming to faculty iit Jammu has the best faculty among 3 g iits for civil engineering now from this you can judge the kind of faculty present here. Here in iit Jammu, all the professors are educated from iits and also as IIT Delhi is the mentor so some of the faculty comes from IIT Delhi. For the exam, whatever the professor teaches in class that are only asked in exams

As in 2020, the first batch of IIT Jammu is passed though this year there was the outbreak of covid then our placement cell worked hard and this was the result Average package 12.2 lpa Highest package 40 lpa Seniors were recruited by the companies like topper, Oyo, optum , amazon, Forbes Marshell,l&t, jbm etc

According to our seniors, we had fest in previous years As due to covid we are studying from home thus for library purpose we are given an online e-library account where there are books available of many publications like Pearson, Wiley, etc.On our campus, there are sports like cricket, volleyball, table tennis, basket ball, etc. On our campus, there are many clubs like coding club, drama club, astronomy club, etc

THIS year as due to COVID there was no interview but there was an online orientation program where we were told different features of our institute we were also introduced to our faculty. After the speech of our director we had a conversation with each department faculty
