K-CET, Karnataka Common Entrance Test. I wanted to pursue engineering in Computer science. NCET was one of the options which i had and it was best

College do not have any such internship facilities. There was no concept of internship for BE students.

In our batch, there were around 90 students from computer science out of which 40% were placed. Below companies visited and the package they offered. HCL - 3.25 Lakh Per Annum, Infosys - 3.25 Lakh per annum, Mphasis - 3.00 Lakh per annum, Exilant technologies - 2.5 Lakh per annum.

Coming to Technical events - college conducted very few events however HOD supported us to attend events occurred at other colleges in various parts of India. Cultural Events - Other than Annual functions college did not support much for cultural events. However Annual college festival was celebrated very well and there were many good spokesperson visited during my tenure in my college.

College fee was about 30K per year. Exam fee was about 1000 Per semester. Hostel fee depends on what kind of room you select, cheapest was 45K per year. Other than this there was no additional fee collected by college unless if you have attendance shortage.

College did not offer any scholarship. However for SC/ST/OBC there was a scholarship programme by State government of KArnataka and college people used to collect details of students for the same.

College does have a alumni network but it is not much active and we do get very less e mailers from that network. It's almost like useless.

We had total 8 semesters, each semester we had 6 theory and 2 labs. Laboratory of college was very good and lab technicians were very knowledge persons and were very helpful. Also we can do some project related activities in lab itself with permission of HOD.

After choosing the college in K-CET, i visited the college. Then i checked the hostel facility if available or not,(Since my native was very far from college). After that i visited the admission section and they helped with the forms which had to fill out. Once i completed the formalities i paid some amount for hostel and college fees.

NCET has some good faculty, they are well knowledge and can solve students query and help them to achieve the goals. However most of all lecturers are local people and they expect students to respect them more(More like a slaves) which is not good.
