My Memories with my college

DVR and Dr HS MIC College Of Technology is a huge campus with a playground and separate blocks for mechanical civil and management departments. It's an autonomous institution. It has a good food facility with a large canteen where the rates are reasonable for lower middle-class students. This college is equipped with good infrastructure and many laboratories for the research of students. The teaching staff is really well experienced and trained who can share great knowledge with students so that they can understand everything regarding subjects easily. The college conducts many technical events which enhances the skills in students by putting forward and inspiration to create new projects and also technical quizzes to check their knowledge. They encourage students by giving them medals for academics and extracurricular activities too. Overall experience is very good with this college.

This college provides under graduation and post-graduation degrees like B.Tech, M.Tech, MBA and also Diploma courses. The ratio of faculty to students is 1:25 approximately. Faculty here provide technical oriented knowledge which is based on practical and theoretical. For a year there are two semesters which include midterm exams and lab internals and externals and at last the semester. Passing the exam is totally based on the student hardwork.

This college has an extremely good count of placements compared to a nearby college. List of the hiring companies is multinational companies like TCS Cognizant Wipro IBM Mind tree. Core companies for electronic students and electrical students also visit this campus and higher-good number of students.

The fee is around Rs. 88,000/- which is similar to nearby colleges. Government of Andhra Pradesh provide around Rs. 35,000/- scholarship. There is no stipend provided by the college. There is a separate fee for transport also.

Campus life is very good at this college. Friends can have many cultural and extracurricular activities for enjoyment. The college conducts many workshops to improve student knowledge. There are also social clubs like NSS which provide service locally for the needy. Sports is an additional asset for this college students in sports participate inter College competitions also.

Hostel room is provided with a belt and fan with sufficient plugins. Rooms are quite big so students can easily accommodate and rest. Common washroom facility is provided. Hostel for girls is located inside the campus with multiple facilities like a waiting room, TV room and wash area including washing machines whereas boys hostel is located in the town which is 3 kilometres away from the college. Once we got admission in the college we need to contact the hostel warden to confirm bed in a hostel. Boys hostel is present in kanchikacherla town.
