Remarks
The good aspect was the placement. I think the placement training is quite good concentrating only the required studies. This is also the reason why I prefer this college over others. Bad aspect in my view is that Extracurricular activities or events are very few. As I got into college through merit, the admission process seemed not difficult for me. I got admission in August 2016. I chose this college through my seniors who already competed for graduation in this college.
Course Curriculum Overview
I chose this course over others since I have an interest in studying communication devices. The faculty-student ratio is 1:50. Qualifications of faculties include MTech, PhD, etc. Term exams are done regularly every two to three months and for passing exams are in moderate means.
Internships Opportunities
Zoho offers internships in our college with a stipend of rs. 15000 per month. Projects include software developing in leading languages. Based on intern performance, the company will recruit. Apart from this, few companies also offer internships.
Placement Experience
From the 7th semester, students become eligible for campus placements. TCS, Zoho, HCL, Infosys, Wipro, and many companies recruit from this college. The highest package will be 8 lakh per annum and the lowest will be below 1 lakh. About 90% of students got placements.
Fees and Financial Aid
Fees are quite high in this college. An average cost per year to study in this college will be Rs. 80000 to 1 lakh. I got into the campus through CENTAC and got financial assistance through the Perunthalaivar Kamarajar Scholarship for students.
Campus Life
The technical fest happens every year but Yearly fest hardly happens. Symposium also very rarely happen. Library facility is good with more number of books. Classrooms are also good. There are Clubs like society club, robotic club, etc in every department.
