Remarks

It is a Private University. It has Experienced Faculty. It is Well Equiped with the instruments. Faculty is very helpful and supporting in terms of academics and cocurricular and extra curricular activities. It promotes regular health and hygiene.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course follows PCI norms and is well updated. According to the PCI syllabus, industrial exposure, required trainings are given. Faculties are experienced. Prof. Makarand Puri- current HOD is very supportive. Prof. Dr. Poonam Inamdar, Prof. Sonali Manwatkar, Prof. Dipmala Patil(PhD.), Prof. Vijay Khedkar, Prof. Swati Mutha, Prof. Sachin Sakat are good with their respective subjects.

The main events taken in Department is the celebration of Pharmacist Day and Pharmacist week. Followed by cultural activities like the fresher's party - Aarambh is the main attraction. Each festival is celebrated with joy. Everyone participates in the activities with enthusiasm and work hard to make it successful.

Campus Life

University and the department of pharmacy promotes sports and provides necessary facilities. Wifi facility, library with lots of reference books, required equipments are provided. Hygiene is maintained and hence regular cleaning is done. Use of technology like projector and virtual classes are taken.

The Placement Cell is responsible for the placement process. It is not very streamlined. Getting a job is considered tough, usually, the student has to search for it themselves. The average package offered is about 4 Lakhs which is okayish. Usually, students go for masters in Europe which is one of the best options. About 40 people apply for placements out of 180 students and out of that about 20-30 get placed.

VU adventures .

I specifically wanted to study in Pune and i belong to Rajasthan . I've given JEE exam, ive scored 87 percentile there and i belong to general category, I did applied to many colleges in Pune the cutoff was very high and they gives priority to the state students more , and I did not give CET exam so , i didn't got admission in any other college , so all I could get was this from the desired college , i specifically came for vit but I couldn't get admission there , other private colleges were even bad . so I chose this . Eligibilty criteria is just that you should have given any of the exam like JEE CET or else they'll make you give a VU's entrance exam , and whatever the score you can get admission here.
