Remarks

National Institute of Design is an autonomous institution. It has been declared as institution of national importance. It is one of the finest institution for product design, textile and communication. NID provide B Des and M Des course.

Course Curriculum Overview

NID conduct an entrance exam every year on national level for admission of students in UG and PG programme. Design Aptitude Test known as NID DAT is a two stages exam with prelims and main. NID DAT prelims for bachelor degree is a written exam. The course curriculum is elaborate. faculties provide vast knowledge in four year programme. NID faculties encourage students in hand driven work.

The entire campus has been beautifully designed. campus provide all facilities that a design students needed. all class rooms have been made air conditioned. campus is fully wi fi. There is a gym, canteen. canteen food is decent. campus is near sabarmati river.
