Remarks

I love civil branch, and i heard that college is very good in teaching and have a professional background and experience. And my relatives were also studied in our college and they give me the good old memories of their campus

Course Curriculum Overview

The course syllabus are updated with new technologies and all. Yes we have 4 industrial visits, that is in each year we have one industrial visit. The faculties are experienced and very helpful. In class time faculties are very free and we can ask any doubts regarding subjects.

Placement Experience

The placement opportunities are higher than other colleges in this area. And many companies visits our college, and in year after year the number of students placed are increasing. And placement cell in our college provides good training programs and notify about new opportunities and stages and also provides competitive exam trainings and usable materials.

The college life is beautiful and we are enjoying. Management is little strict. but that is essential. Before that we have many extracurricular activities like arts day,hostel day,sports day,charity visits ect.my most favourite is tech fest.that is big function and the presentation of our intelligence

Campus Life

About infrastructure, the campus has beautiful atmosphere which is in a middle of hilly area, with sharp cooling. And there are sports facilities that is we have big football ground,basketball courts, badminton, etc etc. And enlarged library with many many diversity of books and collections

Hostel Facilities

I am a day schooler, but i know about hostel life very well because my friends are in hostel. Good facilities and tasty food, with gym facilities for faculties and students. And they have good security system.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Data Science is a rising field in computer science. It has lots of oppurtunities in todays world and easy compared to other fields, which made me choose data science. The curriculum consist of various computer programming languages including Python, R and so on which are vital in the field of data science. There are also experienced faculties for teaching of the programming languages. I personally felt that lab hours are not adequate and also the available hours are also not properly utitlised by some teachers. At the end of each semester we have exams and results are published soon as the exams are over, no lagging compared to other universitites.

Placement Experience:

we are eligible for placement from the 7th sem. Many famous and small compines vist our college. Infosys, WIPRO, TCS vist our college. But the big companies take only few student. Highest package was 1,00,000. And the average package is around 4,00,000. Almost all students gets placed from the campus .

My Experience at NIT Calicut

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would rate the EEE course curriculum around 8-8.5 /10 in terms of relevance.The curriculum provides strong fundamentals in core electrical engineering subjects and prepares students well for core jobs and higher studies.The course curriculum was revised in 2023, and our batch is the 1st batch under the new curriculum. however, there are still limited coding ,AI and data science subjects in EEE ,which could be improved. Exams are conducted times per semester and are generally moderately difficult.

I had applied for this course in several colleges in banglore and other places. The reason which hold me here is the course affordability and good infrastructure provided by this college. This college offers BTech artificial intelligence and Data Science at the rate of 98500 per year as tution fees while other colleges offer this same course around 200000 tution fee per year which is a better reason for studying this college. The college also provide scholarships for students on the basis of their plus two marks and keam ranks which will cover their entire tuition fee which helps the students to study in a cost effective way and also increase the quality of education.
