Remarks

A superb quality of infrastructure with a great environment to learn new innovative things and they also provide facilities like labs, medical facilities and, sports. The food quality of the canteen is awesome. There are no hostel facilities available.

Course Curriculum Overview

The weekend batch was good and the teachers were experienced, passionate & professionals in their field. The faculty to student ratio was good so they devoted quality time to the students. They also expose us to practical knowledge.

Course Fees: INR 8000 per year

Placement Experience

There is no provision of internships here. We never got the assistance from the placement cell of our college. Since studying from IGNOU is just getting a degree through correspondence. Therefore, there is no such provision of placements for students.

College Events

National Science day is celebrated every year. Painting, slogan writing, poetry, etc. Competitions regarding the environment and similar topics are provided. Study materials for various courses have turned quite old and also need some changes.

From 6th-7th semester students become eligible for campus placement The placement process starts in July August of the 4th year and continues until March pril Students can apply for internships from the 3rd year, and many companies offer PPO (Pre-Placement Offers) based on internships Some of the top recruiters include Google Microsoft Amazon Adobe Atlassian Apple Deloitte Goldman Sachs Samsung Salesforce Bain & Company Flipkart Myntra (I copy pasted this from college official pdf and from website) Highest is 85+ lpa i guess according to dtu website and some seniors also told me that Overall average package is 15-18 LPA for btech Common roles offered include Software Development Engineer (SDE) Data Scientist -Data Analyst Product Engineer Business Analyst My plans after getting degree is --getting a core placement in oil refinery or oil rig

Honestly, i would rate the course curriculum 8/10 in terms of relevance and comprehensive. At first I wanted B. Com but then one of my Aunt inspired me to take Economics hons instead . It provides a solid foundation for practical applications by blending the theoretical concepts for the real world applications

All about SRCC life, exposure, placements, faculty and my experience

Placement Experience:

For placements fifth semester student are eligible for placements. Since it is best commerce college. Companies like big 4, google, bank of America, Goldman Sachs, bcg, bain and co., Sbi, paytm, meesho and many more comes. The highest package was 36 LPA this year from meesho for senior analyst roles. Average package is 10 LPA. Most of the placements take place in consulting, marketing, auditing, finance and analyst roles. Around more than 50% of the students get placed. My plan is to take placements in consulting and finance roles after the degree from the college.

mostly 3rd year students sits for placements , offers are given yet they are low from market and not vast in numbers too , i dont remember any major company that joined the placement drive its mostly local startups and companies and they dont support us doing interships so its really hard in bms to get placements as it just not possible

The law department's faculty members are highly qualified, and their teaching methods are commendable. They are extremely hardworking, and they go out of their way to give us a lot of exposure by taking us to the supreme court, high court, Dwarka district court, parliament, and other places. They frequently have several sessions with honorable justices from various courts. Our teachers put in a lot of effort and try their hardest to keep our standards to NLUs when it comes to organizing MUNS to national moot court competition.

"Convenient and recognised distance learning"

All about IGNOU

I applied only to this college because of its flexibility ( you can choose your exam centre anywhere in India), affordability and degree recognition, not because it was my dream college. I didn't applied to any other college. The eligibility for admission is based on minimun academic qualification like 10+2 for UG programs. Only some professional programs may have entrance exam but for general UG/PG none are needed. no competitive cut offs admission is fully online and transparent with minimal paperwork....Read More
