Student Life- Some Memorable Days.

Little more strict, more punctual than we expect during our respective student hood but afterwords we found that that much punctuality and discipline is needed. What a life it was i love those days.

After graduation (B.Sc) I applied for the M.Sc. at Nagpur University. After the eligibility test (on the basis of obtained marks at graduation level and some calculative cut offs) I got the chance for my admission in this institute. Seats are limited, (Max 30) and deadlines are must be followed. I heard a lot about this university, syllabus were very helpful to sit for national level examinations after master degree. So, I took admission at Nagpur University.

The curriculum and entire syllabus was beautifully designed to grow our interest for further studies/ research. In our batch more than 15 students qualified the National Eligibility Test Exam or similar national level exam during the final semester/ in the running year and went for pursuing doctoral research at various Institutions (including IITs) all over India.

I don't think there was any internship was there during our time may be it has started now i am not exactly sure of this.

Two paints company and three pharma company came during our time now, I think, more and more companies come for camp-using 5-6 people went for camp-using job and we all, moved to research studies. During the last semester the companies usually come to visit and our faculties asks us prior to their arrival who want what all get chances.

Merit-cum-poor type scholarship was there. There are many scholarships for the undergrads as usual but not for master degree pursuing candidates.

Seriously it was a wonderful life at least for us the hostilities. I cant share the feeling of the localities. Separate hostels were there for boys and girls Christmas party was superb there national holidays was enjoyable for extra time out movie and special dinner. Sports, Extracurricular activities were there and people can do their own work of choice at the leisure debate, music, gym whatever.

Hostel is superb we stayed in S. F. S. Hall of Residence. The stay was outstanding all are single rooms clean floors and bathrooms food is ok but during festivals or holiday food is awesome enjoyment and routine and restriction runs there in parallel with each other.

All are connected (most of them) by social media. Reunion occurs but in this busy and tight schedule everyone cannot be present still we share photos, chats etc our seniors and juniors even professors are connected.

During M.Sc. there are four semester four big exams and practical exams besides there were several class tests, taken not very frequently, but upon finishing 2-3 chapters. Lab work and theory classes run simultaneously. It was bit hectic some days but, Chemistry a lab oriented subject so that much it should be.

From the University's Administrative Building (LIT) first I collected Admission Brochure and filled up the form therein. Next applied for the eligibility test. It takes a day or two days (Max 2 working days). Then a Eligibility certificate is been issued from the Admission Section. If one get this certificate he or she can go for direct admission after a formal interview at the Academic Building (the university Campus).

I wont say all were world-class faculty at our university during our time because I don't know what world class is rather, I'll say most of the faculties were very good person, they taught us well, they were friendly and kind to all the students. The used to motivate us to bring out our best. In fact, 2-3 faculties are still there, for whom we cried on our last class.
