Remarks

The college provides excellent infrastructure & the courses are of good quality. When I was in second year of graduation, the college was awarded NBA accreditation. Although the teachers are friendly, other faculties behavior is intolerable.

Course Curriculum Overview

The syllabus of KTU is outdated. Most of the time, we are just taught for clearing the exam & most probably students face difficulty in understanding the concept. Labs are not given much importance & after the initial weeks they are used to cover theory portion.

Most of the companiea visiting our college are startups related to IT. Civil engineering grads doesn't have good oppurtunities. But usually students do sit for the campus placements & most of them get selected with a par salary package.

College Events

Don't expect a good campus life. In first year, there was almost NIL activities. We had an IV for a single day & all other events were cancelled (mostly due to floods).It was much better in secobd year but college doesn't give the campus life as one would expect.

Placement Experience:

Placement oppertunities are often given during 4th year of our course. Average package is around 3Lakhs per year. Students getting placements are often high but most of the reject the offer for higher studies inorder to get a higher package.

College Feels Like Home

Placement Experience:

The placement department in our college is great and is always trying to bring good companies to the college. The placement training starts from semester 7. Our top recruiter include Infosys, TCS, Wipro, NocoBD, Delloite, etc. and our mechanical, civil, EEE,ECE all got placements with avg of 4lpa.The highest package where 12 Lpa for SAP. My plans is to get a good job and lead a stable life.

Students in 7th and 8th semester are eligible to sit for campus placements. Companies like Oracle, Goldman Sachs, L&T, Bajaj, Caterpillar and PSU's like BEL,HPCL and BPCL come to the college usually the coding companies offer aroung 35-40 LPA CTC and the core PSU companies offer around 17-18 LPA. Highest Package is 51 LPA and an Average Package of 12 LPA. Nearly 85% students from Circuit and CS branch get placed and around 60% in core branches who sit for placements, My plans after getting the degree is to join MBA to learn how business world works and how the money flows

Placement Experience:

The students are eligible for attending campus placement from semester 7. Some companies that visits ICET are Utc global, Layland, DeltaX, etc. The average package given by the companies are 3 lpa. The percentage of students getting placed are around 40%. I plan to placed at any company.

I had applied for this course in several colleges in banglore and other places. The reason which hold me here is the course affordability and good infrastructure provided by this college. This college offers BTech artificial intelligence and Data Science at the rate of 98500 per year as tution fees while other colleges offer this same course around 200000 tution fee per year which is a better reason for studying this college. The college also provide scholarships for students on the basis of their plus two marks and keam ranks which will cover their entire tuition fee which helps the students to study in a cost effective way and also increase the quality of education.
