Remarks

The good thing is that the college campus, infrastructure and atmosphere is very nice. But in case of education quality and facilities, colllege needs to be improve.Placement scenario is average. Placements are only for mechanical students.

Course Curriculum Overview

I think, mechanical engineering is good for learning and it has much more importance in our life. But now a days, mechanical engineer has less scope. Practicals taken are less. No any research initiatives taken. No any elective option for mechanical branch.

I found moderate job opportunities in our college hence placements are moderate. But our tpo is trying very hard for placements of students and trying to provide maximum company interviews for student to place.

Cultural day Traditional, saree, mismatch, tie days Sports Company visits Power plant visits And participation of students is great. Support form staffs is very good. All students and staffs cooperation is good.Actually, internship is the base of the job. As i am in second year, thats why i don't know about that and i have no experience. But every college should provide the internship with some stipend also.

Placement Experience:

From 7th Sem, students are eligible for placements and undergo placement training. Many companies has visited so far but the big ones are Godrej, BEL, Framatome, etc. The highest package for mechanical was 7.5 LPA and the avg package was around 5 LPA with a majority of job roles as GET. For campus placement students from 3rd year for my course are eligible. Highest package for my course is 3 LPA. Companies like oberois , hyatt etc . If I'll get better placements then I'll go for it otherwise I'll do masters.

Placement cell is quite good. Students are eligible for placement in their last semester of course. There are many great companies that come like JP MORGAN, EY, KPMG. Average package of the college is 5-6 lacs but there are high packages according to the skills of the student. I'd like to go for master's after BMS. Different kind of roles are there for students to apply according to their interests in all the fields like finance, marketing, HR, consulting. There is training provided by the college for placemens and there is personal training for individual company interviews if required by students.

From campus life to career preparation: Reviewing GCOERC Engineering Experience.

Our college takes admission from MHT CET cap rounds. And also Based on Jee main ranks. I have applied in Sandip university before Guru Gobind Singh College of Engineering And Research Centre but the intake of sandip is about 3000 for Computer Science and Engineering and other Specialization in same branch and their fees is about 2 lakhs per year which is expensive in cities like nashik because there is no IT hub in nashik Eligibility for our college is Minimum 50% in 12th Boards....Read More
