Course Curriculum Overview

The course pattern os great qith respect to theory based knowledge but lacks the practical knowledge expect there is no hands on learning experience. The corse is quite difficult as it is There is a manin end sem exam but there are preliminary exa that help you prepare for them

Internships Opportunities

I was offered a intern position at HAL Nashik for 3 months it was unpaid internship but of a great learning experience and in my final year I got a paid internship at Qspiders in pune. The opportunity provided by college are great

Placement Experience

The student are eligible for placement at the 7th semester there are nearly about 8 companies up until now and they have hired upto 10 students I am planning to get work after i get my degree The higgest package is 12LPA And the average package is 7LPA

Fees and Financial Aid

I paid 6000 per year as I got my seat in NT category reservation category but the annual fees of college is 60000. The sc st category get special reservation and consesaion in fees I have apted for post matrix scholarship for vjnt students

Campus Life

The overall campus experience is great there are many activities conducted in the college many sports the college also has great sports equipment and facility there are many social groups according to what interest you have

Admission

I had a very low score in CET exam amd thus it was hard to get a college but I got accepted here and it is a good college. The electrical engineering has a low cut off so i was accepted you can also get admission from the management kota

Faculty

There is never a lack of faculty there is always staff to help you with qhatever you need. The faculty were always helpful and provided great insight. There are always some young faculty with no idea whats going on and thats a really irritating

Interview Experience

No just the CET entrance test exam was used as a bench mark for admission the score of cet exam was considered for admission there was no interview or GD student can also get direct admissions by using the management kota

Night Life

The nightlife is great the college is located in nashik so there is something always happening around you and you can participate which is one of the best things about the college you get the overall college experience

Placement Experience:

From 7th Sem, students are eligible for placements and undergo placement training. Many companies has visited so far but the big ones are Godrej, BEL, Framatome, etc. The highest package for mechanical was 7.5 LPA and the avg package was around 5 LPA with a majority of job roles as GET. Almost 95% students are placed. I'm preparing for GATE ME for higher studies

Highest is still unbeatable as one student in 2023 got a paycheck of 50 lakhs per annum from SIT. Even the average is over 10 lakhs now as most students are placed through SIT placements cell.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum is also good and it is explained in detail on the college's website and there are labs for the courses which made learning fast and easy. Relevance(industry alignment)->8/10 The curriculum is designed to keep up with the industry needs especially in fast growing fields like computer science, management, design and pharmacy. Updated course such as AI, machine learning, cybersecurity, data science and 3D printing are included for tech students. Industry exposure depends on the students initiative it's not equally strong in every department. Comprehensiveness-> 7.5/10 First year courses focus on building strong basics in science, mathematics and communication skills. Later semesters introduce specialisation, electives, research projectsand soft skill training. The curriculum also includes personality development, entrepreneurship and innovation modules. A few departments could integrate new technologies fatser into the syllabus. Nice curriculum in my cource in first year 6 subject are there which are maths chemistry physical engineering drawing and mining geology classes and approx length of each class is 55 min which is nice

I have applied in 3 colleges 1.st guru gobind singh college of engineering and research center Nashik. 2. Matoshri college of engineering 3. Kk wagh college of engineering and research center. I got confirmed admission in guru gobind singh college of engineering and research, And Matoshri college of engineering. Our college takes admission from MHT CET cap rounds. And also Based on Jee main ranks. I have applied in Sandip university before Guru Gobind Singh College of Engineering And Research Centre but the intake of sandip is about 3000 for Computer Science and Engineering and other Specialization in same branch and their fees is about 2 lakhs per year which is expensive in cities like nashik because there is no IT hub in nashik Eligibility for our college is Minimum 50% in 12th Boards....Read More

Guru Gobind Singh college of engineering review

So I take admission under TFWS scheme so I paid only 15,000 fees for first year. Eligibility is we have to score 135 in PCM group in 12th examination and also for AIDS branch there is cet score for pcm more than 75% if you have open or obc category. I take admission in TFWS So I have to pay 15,000 and there are only 3 students are eligible which are scored highest in the class.admission precess is very long and there are very less college staff for admission process we have to wait few hours for our term....Read More
