Remarks

This is a government college. It's the second choice of jee students among the different colleges in Uttarakhand. This course has many Carrier options than others in private as well as other government fields I think this personally.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course is about the machines,working tools. The course curriculum is according to the UTU Uttarakhand technical university. All the sllybus and academic calendar is decided by UTU. There are several industrial visits for deeper information. The faculty is pretty good Manish Singh Bisht sir is one of my favourite faculty.

Course Fees: INR 75000 per year

Placement Experience

There are several small companies visit our college frequently. Some had mass recruitments. But the bigger companies hesitate to come as it's not a urban area. But the THDC project it self can provide job opportunities. The average package of the college is about 7 lakhs.

College Events

The campus is near the tehri so in free time we wander there near the lake,dam. The view of the campus is beautiful. There are many events organised by college and college also participate in the event organized by the UTU.

A well rounded experience at GEHU dehradun .

Placement Experience:

At GEHU, placement eligibility starts from the 6th semester. companies like TCS, Wipro, Infosys and Amazon visit the campus. The highest package offered is around 35LPA and the average is 4-6LPA. About 70-80% of students get placed , mainly in IT and management roles. After completing my degree I plan to work in the industry and later pursue higher studies.

Placement Experience:

Placement are fine I won't say good for our course most of students prefer for higher students so the placement percentage will be 50- 60 . Student are eligible in their last for placement . Placement are provided by college but if you want off campus it's the students choice . The companies are :- United bioceuticals, ALPS , graphic era hospital etc.

UPES University brings in a different energy!!

Placement Experience:

Infy, Techno India, Brumha and many as techies are required all over. From a watchmaker to salt maker without a techie a business can't grow big. So, even though there are 500+ CSE students still 75 percent or so get placed easily from our campus.

Good place and college. Bad Admin and Faculty

I took admission in Covid year, 2020.So all of colleges had delayed the admission procedure, but THDC was admitting on basis of 12th marks before even JEE mains was completed. I had not much prep for Jee, so I took admission in THDC as it was in my home district. Now the admission process is entirely online.
