Remarks

Overall the college is decent with decent placements. The college management has provided everything required to learn and with diversity it is an altogether a great experience.

Entrance Preview

CAT, scored 77.4 percentile, I opted for this college because I wanted to learn in a residential program. Apart from that IMT was a brand which made me firm in my decision to join this college.

Course Curriculum Overview

3

The course structure is pretty well. The focus on each subject and real life application of that particular subject helps us gain knowledge for the corporate world. Apart from that faculties are quite qualified and experienced. The course also includes group activities and presentations which helps us work in groups.

Internships Opportunities

Yes it provides Summer Internship Program. The companies visit the campus for recruitment process. The average stipend is around 5000-10000, with a few companies like Asian Paints and Mind Works Global providing 40000 and 25000 respectively. The experience as heard from the seniors is phenomenal and people get to learn many new things before they start off with their Final Placement.

Placement Experience

3

The Placement scenario is quite decent. Companies like Asian Paints, Deloitte, Amazon, HDFC, CRISIL etc. visit the campus for recruitment. The average package offered is 7LPA. Highest being 16LPA. As of 2014-16, 94℅ were placed, all in reputed companies. Some help Pre Placement Offer also.

College Events

3

There are various events celebrated in the college the biggest events being Milestone 34 and Milestone 35. Apart from that Melange, which is an event for the alumnus. Forum games take place on a regular basis which are games related to subjects of specialization. Also TEDx and MUN takes place.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee across two years is 12L. It includes accommodation expenses also. The tuition fee is of 9L approx. Loan facility is also available from Oriental Bank of Commerce which has a tie up. The whole fee structure is feasible as with 12L fees we got a campus which is lush green and beautiful and accommodation very comfortable.

Fees and Financial Aid

Loan facility is offered through Oriental Bank of Commerce. And yes, scholarship is provided in the second year of college to all the outstanding students.

Campus Life

3.5

The gender ratio, I.e., boys is to girls is about 3:2. Various extracurricular activities are available in the campus including committees and forums. Football field, tennis courts, badminton courts, gym, TT, etc are available in the campus. Apart from that student run businesses such as cooperative store and CO2 are also available.

Hostel Facilities

2.5

The rooms of the hostel are spacious with compulsory double occupancy in the first year and optional in the second year. The per year fees for hospitality charges is 75000. Every student is provided with a bed, a side table, a study table, a chair and a cupboard.

Alumni/Alumna

The college seniors are very helpful and the alumnus were quite helpful to us as to what to do and what not to do during MBA.

Exam Structure

Multiple exams take place per day so yes sometimes it does become hectic. Multiple Choice Questions are not so hectic but all the written exams are. Apart from that the exam structure is designed is such a way that it helps us learn time management and also makes us quick learners.

Admission

The shortlisted candidates are called for CnPI process where a Written Ability Test is conducted followed by Personal Interview. The process did not take much time. The questions asked during the interview were business related academic questions. A few current affairs related questions and why MBA and not CA or CFA ? (As I was from commerce background).

Faculty

3.5

They are quite qualified with many of them being alumnus of prestigious institutes of the world. Apart from that they have industrial experience which helps us get prepared for the life after college. The real life scenarios touched upon by them helps us relate to what we are studying which makes the subject all the more interesting.

1) students become eligible for placements just after they complete their second semester examinations 2) only local companies visited to our colleges such as per Pooja, weblink services etc which were very small scale local organisations offering very poor packages to the students 3) the average package that my batch got was 2.lakhs per annum and the highest was 6 lpa where before admission the college claimed the average packages to be 6lpa and Highest to be above 10lpa 4) the percentage of students getting placed is not more than 10-15% 5)my plans after getting the degree is to look for better companies outside my college because my college hasn't been helpful in terms of placements in any manner .

College is almost good .this for those who want only masters but no placement .if you also want to get placed in any company need only degree ur welcome. The management is worst the nonteaching staff doesn't know how to talk with students especially the admission office. I here declare whatever I have seen and suffered I presented my view about this college to you, not it's your choice to go to heaven like symbiosis or choose hell. I was misguided and helpless so I came here means I got fewer marks in a snap so please students appear for snap sincerely.
