Remarks

In close proximity and college in accredited by NAAC A++ grade and it got 88 rank in NIRF ranking prepared by MHRD Decent atmosphere, qualified teachers, Economical, supportive staff etc.

Course Curriculum Overview

Curriculum is very good as they focus more on activities based learning rather than just teaching theoretical concepts, one should be well prepared to participate in many presentations as this is part of curriculum. Weightage of assignments, presentation is almost equal to written exams so everything is perfectly balanced.

Placement Experience

Placements are nice as average package we can get is between 3-5 lac per annum and some can get as high as 9 lac per annum by nielsen and some other companies.

College Events

In Campus rules are very strict as none of the student is allowed to enter with mobile phones otherwise it will be ceased by vigilance team and you will get your phone after a semester, NSS is compulsory for everyone as everyone has to contribute in cleaning the premises, trimming grass, cleaning classrooms, in march and April when wheat is ready to harvest,students are taken to crop fields to cut crops etc, we have alumni meet very frequently as DEI has very strong network of alumni so you will get updated with the latest trends and demands of indusries.

Course Curriculum Overview:

BCA is really relevant for todays technology upgradations going on in world. I was into tech and coding so i opted BCA and since college is accessible by metro and have good name so i took admission in it and i regret not. Curriculum is up to date and changes yearly as required in recent technology and ties up with trends. There is no space for improvement as of now. Exams happen frequently like class test ans assignments and they make u study from scratch so there is no difficulty its moderate.

The placements here are quite good. Companies that hire for Electrical core: Nvidia, Texas Instruments, Qualcomm, Bajaj etc. Software/Quant compaines open to Electrical: Squarepoint Capital, NK Securities, Google, Microsoft etc. The % of students getting placed are 85%. Average package is 29.33 lpa. I have got an internship in Nvidia Software.

The college is in my hometown so close to family and friends. No moving out having the comfort of living with family. Apart from this good syllabus structure. I was getting to learn so much more here than in other colleges. The reason i came back from college in Shimla, it was purely due to homesickness. The admission process is you can fill online and offline forms where you need to may something between 500- 1000 per form.
