Student's Review On Camellia Institute Of Technology - [CIT], Kolkata

Due to some circumstances i was in a hurry to take admission in a college because i was very late to take the admission by my personal problem. But yes i got to know about this college and get know many more positive terms like a big campus with very friendly and supportive environment, which i already situated in a metropolitan city like kolkata also very close to the airport as well. The education is good here. Faculties are super supportive and kind to every student and my requirement was Btech with Cse branch and i am getting this branch in btech admission here easily so i opted here. Also there a great hostel and canteen facility inside the campus. And many other stuffs are there to make a positive review for my college.

My syllabus was updated recently with a new syllabus. Yes i have provided some of the good visits to companies and institutions and also we have a visit to our university main campus for a workshop on cloud computing. Had a visit to IIT Kharagpur for a project for two time in a year. Our faculties are super supportive and very kind in nature to behaive and help. They are always there for the students. My own branch faculty - Computer Science With a very friendly HOD.

No not at all have opted for any internships yet.

I just completed my second year there in this lockdown. And i still not have much knowledge about the placements as well but yes i know our TPO offers several industry visits and internships options for a better experience of working in an industry and also a resume boost internships with great knowledge relevant to our branches.

There are many events presents there in a seminar hall and also with a great fresher welcome as well with a big party function organised. Cultural fest are there Saraswatu puja, Vishwakarma puja, organised there in between of all the faculties and students. Yearly sports day with all the sports like football, cricket, badminton, tabletenis, and many other tournaments organised there. And many other functions and celebrations. Participation of approx 1000 in the cultural event. And other basic functions counts 200-400 students in the inside college functions and seminars.

There are scholarships for bengal based students, I haven't opted them for so i don't have much knowledge about this. But yes there are scholarships and loans not offered by college but by the government for the students.

Infrastructures are not so like long buildings on average of 4-5th floor all the highest buildings are there, but yes there are a huge campus of my college with a average of 4-5 playgrounds, big hostel, Canteen and very greenary environment.

Yes i have opted hostel, hostel is such a great home for me with such big rooms, A very big common room with inside carrom boards, table tenis, televsion, party area and also with the high speed unlimited wifi for all the hostellers for free and now with the canteen and fooding facilities, food is fresh and healthy and such a great week menu with maximum days is non veg thalis and also a great options for vegetarians as well. Also provides evening chai time with a proper snack everyday.
