Remarks

Fees is to be paid at the beginning of each semester, In my time it was 1.2 lakhs for the entire course most probably the fees has increased. Compared to other private college's our fees structure is quite affordable. So I choose the college for BHM.

Course Curriculum Overview

Course is good, interesting and a lot of fun activities takes place and students will definitely enjoy once they go through their practical class, especially kitchen classes will be a great to most of the students as per my experience they will enjoy and learn a lot of new thinks about the industry. No doubt regarding the faculty of SBIHMKolkata, each on of them are stunning in their respective departments.

Placement and jobs are well and good the students are getting jobs in hotels as well as retail sectors and few other sectors related to hospitality. Yes our college do provide internship either on summer or winter batch.

A lot of events takes place in the college. Previously we used to celebrate one of the largest food fest but something else takes place, each and every festival is celebrated in the college and menu's are also set accordingly. Many other cultural function held in our college.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The syllabus of the course is pretty nice with diversified subjects alsong with specialization subjects in the 3rd and 4th semester. Some compulsory subjects include Tagore Studies and Basics of Communication. The course also includes Development Communication, Online media, Journalism, Gender studies, Advanced Audio Visual Production. The department is well equipped a mac lab but it only have 5 macs. The curriculum also includes Design, UIUX, Graphics design etc, and the curriculum is continuously updating with moden media teachings. The curriculum mostly prepare us for Academic Purposes than Industry.
