Remarks

This is a government college. The campus is vast and is in mid of tehri. It's near the THDC project tehri dam. THDC even can provide you job offers. Civil engineering is main branch to get government sector job.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course is all about maintaining,constructing and designing roads,bridges and tunnels. The academic calendar and sllybus is decided by the UTU Uttarakhand technical university. Industrial visits are up to mark.

Course Fees: INR 72000 per year

The bigger companies not come often. The average package is about 6-7 lakh recently subham nautiyal got a package of 8 lakh. The college organise several alumini meets.

The campus is good as I like hostel facilities. Pg facility is also there. It's near tehri dam. There are many workshops organised by the college. There are several events of utu in which the college participate.

A well rounded experience at GEHU dehradun .

Placement Experience:

At GEHU, placement eligibility starts from the 6th semester. companies like TCS, Wipro, Infosys and Amazon visit the campus. The highest package offered is around 35LPA and the average is 4-6LPA. About 70-80% of students get placed , mainly in IT and management roles. After completing my degree I plan to work in the industry and later pursue higher studies.

Placement Experience:

Placement are fine I won't say good for our course most of students prefer for higher students so the placement percentage will be 50- 60 . Student are eligible in their last for placement . Placement are provided by college but if you want off campus it's the students choice . The companies are :- United bioceuticals, ALPS , graphic era hospital etc.

UPES University brings in a different energy!!

Placement Experience:

Infy, Techno India, Brumha and many as techies are required all over. From a watchmaker to salt maker without a techie a business can't grow big. So, even though there are 500+ CSE students still 75 percent or so get placed easily from our campus.

As i awlsy want to go in Medical line but didn't get selected in MBBS so at that time choose ayurveda But now i think that's my best decisions ever not only bcz it teaches you the medical services towards people but also the way of living too Nowadays there is a lot of scope in ayurveda Likewise in Corona virus the most effective pathy in the whole world is Ayurveda I think the scope of improvement ar only is teaching methods not in pathy cauz the text in Ayurveda are all written in ancient times I think the systems(NCISM) that runs Ayurveda need to know that there isnt any use of doing so much assignments if you don't have practical knowledge cauz they are focusing of text not on practise Time given for exam is satisfactory

Good place and college. Bad Admin and Faculty

I took admission in Covid year, 2020.So all of colleges had delayed the admission procedure, but THDC was admitting on basis of 12th marks before even JEE mains was completed. I had not much prep for Jee, so I took admission in THDC as it was in my home district. Now the admission process is entirely online.
