Remarks

This college is under UTU Uttarakhand technical university. This is the second choice of jee students among the different colleges in Uttarakhand. This college in cooperation with THDC ( tehri hydro development corporation) so this project can also provide jobs

Course Curriculum Overview

This course civil engineering is about construction, maintain and designing. This course about public sector works. This College is under UTU so course curriculum is according to it. The industrial exposure is not that good. Himanshu nautiyal sir is one the best faculty in the college.

Course Fees: INR 75000 per year

Placement Experience

The jobs and placement are not up to mark in our college. This is a average college in terms of placement. The average package is about 6-7 lakh.there are several alumini meets all over the year.

College Events

The campus life is not that good it's boring sometimes. There are not many things to do. There are many events organised by the college- annual sports fest, cultural fests, and competition. There are many work shops conducted by the college. And college have to participate in the utu events.

A well rounded experience at GEHU dehradun .

Placement Experience:

At GEHU, placement eligibility starts from the 6th semester. companies like TCS, Wipro, Infosys and Amazon visit the campus. The highest package offered is around 35LPA and the average is 4-6LPA. About 70-80% of students get placed , mainly in IT and management roles. After completing my degree I plan to work in the industry and later pursue higher studies.

Placement Experience:

Placement are fine I won't say good for our course most of students prefer for higher students so the placement percentage will be 50- 60 . Student are eligible in their last for placement . Placement are provided by college but if you want off campus it's the students choice . The companies are :- United bioceuticals, ALPS , graphic era hospital etc.

UPES University brings in a different energy!!

Placement Experience:

Infy, Techno India, Brumha and many as techies are required all over. From a watchmaker to salt maker without a techie a business can't grow big. So, even though there are 500+ CSE students still 75 percent or so get placed easily from our campus.

Good place and college. Bad Admin and Faculty

I took admission in Covid year, 2020.So all of colleges had delayed the admission procedure, but THDC was admitting on basis of 12th marks before even JEE mains was completed. I had not much prep for Jee, so I took admission in THDC as it was in my home district. Now the admission process is entirely online.
