Remarks

I chose this college as it is one of the most reputed universities in India. DEI is known for its moral values and the students there are known for there values and exceptional personality.I opted BBA as it provides us with the insights of business. I wish to become a successful manager therefore this course would be a stepping stone towards that

Course Curriculum Overview

Being in the first year of my college I cannot say much out of experience but have heard much about the opportunities provided by DEI. Students are offered various projects which help them develop in their respective fields. Talking about the courses the beauty of the colleges is depicted by the courses offered here apart from the subject related courses. We are offered a core course of cultural education which makes us learn about the rich heritage of our culture and country.

Class Size: 45Course Fees: INR 18900 per year

Placement Experience

However there is no particular placement cell for undergraduates, but the placements for postgraduate is fine.

College Events

There are NCC camps and cleanliness drives held every year in college. Other that that there are various cultural activities held for overall development of students. Literary, dance, fine arts, music to name a few are the various fields in which activities are held.

Course Curriculum Overview:

BCA is really relevant for todays technology upgradations going on in world. I was into tech and coding so i opted BCA and since college is accessible by metro and have good name so i took admission in it and i regret not. Curriculum is up to date and changes yearly as required in recent technology and ties up with trends. There is no space for improvement as of now. Exams happen frequently like class test ans assignments and they make u study from scratch so there is no difficulty its moderate.

The placements here are quite good. Companies that hire for Electrical core: Nvidia, Texas Instruments, Qualcomm, Bajaj etc. Software/Quant compaines open to Electrical: Squarepoint Capital, NK Securities, Google, Microsoft etc. The % of students getting placed are 85%. Average package is 29.33 lpa. I have got an internship in Nvidia Software.

The college is in my hometown so close to family and friends. No moving out having the comfort of living with family. Apart from this good syllabus structure. I was getting to learn so much more here than in other colleges. The reason i came back from college in Shimla, it was purely due to homesickness.
