Remarks

This college is near a big project THDC so this project itself can provide you jobs. This is a government college. Second priority of jee students among other colleges in Uttarakhand. Mechanical is broad branch so you can get place ment in many different sectors.

Course Curriculum Overview

The mechanical engineering is about mainly physics and maths. This is s four year degree.its about machinery. Robotics is popular nowadays so coding Is being reached so you can also give interviews of computer science and electronic.the faculty is good and generous. Manish Singh Bisht sir is one whose teaching style I like personally

Course Fees: INR 75000 per year

Placement Experience

The college take care of placements and packages. Companies come frequently. The average package is about 5-7 lakh. Recently subham nautiyal got package of 8 lakh. Alumni meets are organised in a year.

Campus life is good is so enjoyable it's hectic too. Therr are many sports events in college. The college is under UTU so events are conducted also by UTU. There are many fests organised by college. There is a group udaan in college to help poor children around campus

Course Curriculum Overview:

I am preparing for a government job, so I took admission in this course just to get a graduation degree and not for any other reason. There should be some improvement in the lab and also in the exam pattern. The timing of our exam is 2:30 hours which is less time because the exam is lengthy.

I think this coast does not focus more on technical aspects. I think this course should focus more on the coding part. And the exam should not be conducted just before the semester exam it should be conducted at least 3 or 2 months before the semester exam so that student can start prepping from the starting

As I have seen students who have studied from here have achieved many things in life some of them became professors here. Some are doing work abroad. According to me something there should be a change like having more practicals if you have taken subjects like IT, cs,bca or any other practical subjects book knowledge is also compulsory but by doing practicals we can learn more easily. Exams are normal for 1st year but as you are going higher difficulties will come.

GREAT COLLEGE

Admission:

The entrance exam is held on June 1 every year. IIMs .silly running. The test is for admission to all IIMs including IISK Shikesh, Delhi, Jodhpur, Bhopal, Jaipur and Bhubaneswar. After selection, you just have to visit college for filling the form.

Good place and college. Bad Admin and Faculty

I took admission in Covid year, 2020.So all of colleges had delayed the admission procedure, but THDC was admitting on basis of 12th marks before even JEE mains was completed. I had not much prep for Jee, so I took admission in THDC as it was in my home district. Now the admission process is entirely online.
