Remarks

It's best Institute for pursuing mechanical engineering and also is second prefered institute for mechanical branch in Uttrakhand. I choose this course because at this rank I had to opt for mechanical branch. Also I find it interesting as it is completely Or mostly based on physics theory or aspects

Course Curriculum Overview

Exams are takes place on semester basis two internal and one external exam takes place in one semester. Faculties are not that very supportive when comes to studies and are very strick. Labs are conducted and good industrial exposure is provided

Class Size: 9Course Fees: INR 70000 per year

Placement Experience

Placement are fairly good almost most students get placed with average package of about 4 lpa but still need improvement

College Events

Various sports events are organised with active involvement of almost every students from other branches as well. Generally students has opted for hostel so life is fun in hostel as well. Various other events are also organised by various societies of college

A well rounded experience at GEHU dehradun .

Placement Experience:

At GEHU, placement eligibility starts from the 6th semester. companies like TCS, Wipro, Infosys and Amazon visit the campus. The highest package offered is around 35LPA and the average is 4-6LPA. About 70-80% of students get placed , mainly in IT and management roles. After completing my degree I plan to work in the industry and later pursue higher studies.

Placement Experience:

Placement are fine I won't say good for our course most of students prefer for higher students so the placement percentage will be 50- 60 . Student are eligible in their last for placement . Placement are provided by college but if you want off campus it's the students choice . The companies are :- United bioceuticals, ALPS , graphic era hospital etc.

UPES University brings in a different energy!!

Placement Experience:

Infy, Techno India, Brumha and many as techies are required all over. From a watchmaker to salt maker without a techie a business can't grow big. So, even though there are 500+ CSE students still 75 percent or so get placed easily from our campus.

I took admission in Covid year, 2020.So all of colleges had delayed the admission procedure, but THDC was admitting on basis of 12th marks before even JEE mains was completed. I had not much prep for Jee, so I took admission in THDC as it was in my home district. Now the admission process is entirely online.
