Remarks

This college is near my home town. This is a government college. This college is near tehri dam so we can get job offer from there also as there is THDC project is running on. This college is second choice of jee students among the different colleges in Uttarakhand.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course is informative and thorough. The course curriculum and academic calendar is according to UTU (Uttarakhand technical university). The academic scores based on the 2 lab and 2 theory exams in a semester. The faculty is so supportive and devote to the teaching.

Course Fees: INR 72000 per year

Placement Experience

The companies Visit frequently but the concern is that bigger companies are not coming in the college. All placement process are done by college. The average package is about 6-7 lakhs. Recently subham nautiyal got a package of 8 lakh.

College Events

The campus life is hectic and boring. The class schedule is so tight. But the view of the campus is so beautiful as it's near the tehri lake. The utu conducts many events such as sports evemts so college participate in that event. The college itself organise it's events.

A well rounded experience at GEHU dehradun .

Placement Experience:

At GEHU, placement eligibility starts from the 6th semester. companies like TCS, Wipro, Infosys and Amazon visit the campus. The highest package offered is around 35LPA and the average is 4-6LPA. About 70-80% of students get placed , mainly in IT and management roles. After completing my degree I plan to work in the industry and later pursue higher studies.

Placement Experience:

Placement are fine I won't say good for our course most of students prefer for higher students so the placement percentage will be 50- 60 . Student are eligible in their last for placement . Placement are provided by college but if you want off campus it's the students choice . The companies are :- United bioceuticals, ALPS , graphic era hospital etc.

Placement Experience:

Infy, Techno India, Brumha and many as techies are required all over. From a watchmaker to salt maker without a techie a business can't grow big. So, even though there are 500+ CSE students still 75 percent or so get placed easily from our campus.

I took admission in Covid year, 2020.So all of colleges had delayed the admission procedure, but THDC was admitting on basis of 12th marks before even JEE mains was completed. I had not much prep for Jee, so I took admission in THDC as it was in my home district. Now the admission process is entirely online.
